It’s Tommy got the memories of a person from your childhood you love so dearly aren’t lost the time, but are still yet to come It taught me that it’s OK to feel sad and alone, but that doesn’t mean that you should have those feelings anchor, and instead we should transform them into the motivation to move forward It was magical… But more importantly… I felt motivated to achieve most of my goals throughout the future of my life Who says that that a world is a harsh place think about the positive things instead of things that you have that involves sadness and fear getting a job or getting married and meeting new friends. life is only scary if you tell yourself it is.and that’s why the extraterrestrial helps. You learn about life and healthiest way.

Spielberg is a genius. He let the kids ad lib. Most directors wouldn't do that. He has such a fantastic creative imagination and a strong mix of human realism to go with it

It's weird seeing E.T stripped back to all his components and wires!. I remember going to the cinema and seeing this movie as a kid and being amazed at how they managed to get E.T to work. There was a story a few days back that the puppet had gone under the hammer and they showed it all stripped back. Amazing how CGI has usurped this basic technology and that ET had to be built and operated from scratch and yet it worked!. It's unsettling though...it's like seeing a morgue scene with all these bits and pieces...you can understand how some alien autopsy footage can be faked when you see these exhibits. Unsettling in bits though...

Incredible exhibit. So much work and love was put into bringing E.T. to the big screen. Watching this video made me realize it was truly a labor of love and after 40 years E.T. is still king.
