From Olivier Jobard: Kingsley is doing well. He lives with a young woman named Hasna and they are trying to have a child. He recently bought a new house in the suburbs of Paris and works in the town doing air conditioning maintenance at the Paris Exhibition Center. It's been exactly 20 years since he crossed the Atlantic Ocean. I've been trying to take new photos for over a year but it's complicated because his wife doesn't want to. But he was the best man at my wedding two years ago!

...great interview Amy, and thanks to MediaStorm for providing you a 'platform', the irony is that if we had more honorable folk of your calibre, we'd soon 'straighten' the world out! You've retained your infectious sense of humour through everything, what an example! Thanks Amy!

I've had that image in my heart since it was published in the Marine Corps Times in 2004/05. The struggle is real. For my battle led me to Texas Department of Criminal Justice, lookin at 2-20. But... God. Sobriety "12-12-12" But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1 Brothers the TRUTH will set you free. Jesus is the TRUTH

This broke my heart ❤️ Watched this video looking for my Uncles, within the longshoreman. What a wonderful neighborhood. We left for Long Island because my aunt became sick with MS. Couldn’t do the steps and Doctor stopped making house calls. I love my life on Long Island but my heart is always in the neighborhood. I went back often for the Procession of Our Lady of Sorrows. Dinners on Court Street and definitely for the bakeries Mr Racuglia treated my cousins with such respect at their funerals.

The problem with this war, as it was never a war, is the effects it had world wide. Two countries, Laos and Cambodia, caught in the cross hairs of powers who wanted to be. They had nothing to do with the Viet Nam conflict. Yet, they paid a heavy, need less price. I agree. The war that never was. They were caught in between. To this day, they can not farm because of the UXOs in their lands. Every day, people die from UXOs. Do we go out today or not. We have to farm, right. But, we have to live also. In this case, I feel so sad. These people are not prisoners, but they are “truly” trapped. What do they do? Live……..or die.

God bless this marine. You did your job being America's warrior and bear the images that we the people now do not have to experience. I will tell my son about your heroics that you endured on that day to protect his freedom. You are my families hero and all of your county's as well
@PiceaSitchensis Жыл бұрын
Would you say the same to any other soldier fighting in an unjust war from other countries? Soldiers fighting in unjust wars are morally culpable for their actions, and they're not doing a service.
@shreksburgers8 ай бұрын
@@PiceaSitchensis no wars are truly just. they're always about territory or influence or resources. you take what someone else has, and if they can't defend it it's yours. the only difference is that our wars are more destructive due to superior technology and our morality has changed. back in the day soldiers would have likely been much more open to things like slaughtering the populations of entire cities, and they wouldn't have cared. and let's be fair - we're all pawns in the end. the difference is that usually (not anymore) soldiers died faster than us civilians.
