Thanks for the video, getting ready to build this same setup for a construction trailer. Already have the roof vent, and waiting for the local RV dealer to get the wall vent in stock. You giving an inside look at the box was the one missing piece to the puzzle, and I'm sure I can come up with something a bit better for the inside of mine. Wanted a rooftop RV, however they are crazy expensive, plus Construction/cargo trailers the roofs are made a bit cheaper, where you can't walk on them, like an RV.. So this seemed the best way to go. I may or maynot be making a video on KZbin on how to build this from scratch with part numbers.

My washer is not draining through the small hose in the front where the filter is the water just gushes out through the filter once I opened it and the filter is not clogged at all, I think it’s the hose that runs from the back and drains out there I looked down in it and it has all kinds of dog hair and stuff in it, we raise Belgium, Malamas so you can only imagine the hair and stuff. Could I be correct about this and if so how do I get the hose completely out of the back of the washer???

Very cool, so how much did they improve the ride quality and what was the costs of them ?
@workingdad4 ай бұрын
expensive..that's the downside. ride seemed a whole lot better on bumpy areas where I mow sometimes. if you have a decently smooth property, may not be worth while, but if you're mowing a county ditch or a wash out area, it's a big help
@nickfruge56393 ай бұрын
@@hwdllc if you get them from eBay, they’re significantly cheaper than if you get directly from Hustler….. the one downside to that is… well, eBay But I ordered my mulch kit from eBay and it was perfectly fine…. Hey Daddyswork, what manufacturer did you go with on rockauto? You found the exact same looking assembly as stock and I would like to buy the same one.

TYC brand. I've installed them on a 2000 F250 also a few years before this video and they have been great as well.

(Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I can get a quality headlight brand) One last question, how does the beam pattern match the OEM headlight assembly? Does it differ any?

Thanks for the content, just picked up a MKX and looking for coolant flush/fill/burp tip. If your tank and coolant was so old you were worried about it why did you not change thermostat? New thermostat seems like a cheap preventative maintenance item. If you are a high miles engine ( like mine) best practice is to change timing belt, water pump, oil seals, etc. rather than remember to monitor your tank reservoir level. fyi you spent to much time talking about minutia and not how to get it done, adds little value, like telling someone how to build a Swiss watch when they ask the time of day. A real time waster on use of old OEM hose spring clamps, throw em out. I always go with SS clamps (hobo freight clamps not SS) which most big box stores sell in different sizes in a "contractor baggie", for use on my fleet of motorcycles, vehicles, and boats. My two cents.
@workingdad5 ай бұрын
timing chain on these, not a belt. it'll last 3, 4, 500k if the rest of it makes it that far. it is also a very difficult job given the tight location. thermostat-also not a straight forward job. not awful, but not a small block GM or Ford easy job either. no issues with it, so opted to not do any more work than needed at the time. there are some good videos on thermostat housing. depending on year, it may be plastic or cast chinesium. here's a good video if you need it kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKi0oWSHgc2Fm9k otherwise, hope you are doing OK
@dewholdingsllc10505 ай бұрын
@@workingdad sure, chain, not a belt. However I would be skeptical of the ford chain tensioner’s ability to last that long. Also the three engine and transmission mounts seem to be a weakness. Do you have a video on that?
@workingdad5 ай бұрын
@@dewholdingsllc1050 no video on the engine mounts, but can tell you the bottom one seems to take the most abuse. It and the passenger side are fairly easy to change, there are many other videos on it if you need help.

Did you take the opportunity to reconfigure the pan area under the AC unit to improve the water flow, external drainage and water tightness of the area? There seemed to be a number of unaddressed long term issues there.
@workingdad7 ай бұрын
there was a recall on this camper for having a drain pan that was too short from the chassis..more of the "how shoddy are campers built" question. drains well after that warranty fix
@americanrambler49727 ай бұрын
Roof units have to deal with water just like the wall units do. So proper drainage is key for both installations. It appears as though the drainage configuration may be more problematic for the wall mount units. I was interested to see what was done for the drainage on your unit after you removed it. I was not impressed with the water proofing of the AC unit space. I was surprised at the rather un impressive design and build of the space.

I have a problem with my standing shower. The water flow suddenly came to a trickling halt. The shower would be half flow and then after a few minutes, the flow starts to slow down. Even after changing the shower head, it definitely isn’t the problem. It is def an internal issue. Could it be a blockage in the cartridge? Please help.

Good video. One way to get the pipe to be more secure is to wrap a rubber o-ring around the pipe and then secure with a small amount of waterproof electrical tape around the o-ring. Then the flange can attach and you can screw. Using epoxy isn’t advised because it’s a permanent bond. Easier to remove tape and a rubber o-ring later.

Going on having my dryer 2 years, this was throwing d90 and d95 codes since day 1. I had cleaned my vents prior to hooking up 2 years ago. I called Bob from India at support, WHAT A JOKE. Anyway the dryer is great for clothes and does not throw a code. When it comes to drying towels plan on turning off and on about 5 times before they get dry. Finally had enough and found time to mess with it. Did what’s stated in this video, no help. LG DRYER IS JUNK compared to a cheap dryer, but hey it looks prettier than the basic dryer 😡😡😡😡
