When I was 15, my shitty garage band used to play this in both bars and drag strips ( yes, I was playing in bars at that age because people used to not be pussies and would just stamp your hand as long as an adult was around to make sure you didn't drink lol). We weren't that great but I can say proudly, we did a great cover of this because me and the other guitarist, my best friend, studied Ricky Medlock and Charlie Hargrett to a science. I'll always love this song, even 21 years later

Eric Carmen and the band were a great band and from Ohio too. Never got to see them live. I really regret that.

I like metal, hard rock, classic rock...I stumbled on this guys music, specifically Down the River. I can’t stop listening. If this is country music I’m in.

There is a piece of the intro to "Go All The Way" at the very end. Turn up volume to hear it. It's at 5:27 or so.

Pretty good, but this needs more attention. I barely hear it on the radio, and it seems that the only people who even know the song are people who watch Supernatural. Why doesn't anybody even talk about it at all?

I will always remember exactly where and when I was when I first heard "Thirteen" on the radio in the late 80s on our great college rock station. I sat in my '74 Maverick, transfixed, and forever changed.

Saw the Gurus on their 97 fair well tour in Sydney while visiting from the states. My mates and I somehow were able to get 3 tickets right before the show, and what a performance they put on.
