I've sampled all from this house with the exception of the latest release (Chai Desert). My personal favourite is Bond Street Leather which is absolutely superb and have a full bottle as well as Beyond the Pashtun Summit, Origins of the Collector and Tales from Zanzibar. I'm 100% with you on Musk Mantra - it wasn't for me at all. Atlantic Fig, Indian Vetiver and Pacific Grapefruit are also very good and are worth trying. Great review, your description of Tales from Zanzibar is spot on. I really do like the dry down of that one.

That's a good question which unfortunately I cannot say with certainty as they have played out differently on different people. I'd recommend to sample both personally on your skin to see which one works for you.

Thank you for the review- I’ve always been tempted by Musk Therapy but its a blind buy where I live - and priced in the high $400’s. Do you have any other recommendations for musk fragrances? I feel that middle eastern fragrances do musks really well and wondered with all your experience in middle eastern fragrances what do you think are the best?

$400!! 🤯 that's ridiculous! Yes Middle Eastern brands are great at creating Musk Fragrances. Kashmir Musk by Arabian Oud is a good alternative to Musk Therapy. I also suggest trying Swiss Arabian Musk 07 which is a fruity Musk. There's a UK brand called Rosa Salas and their fragrance called Bambino is a soft musk scent and currently one of my favourites. All of these are below £100.

@ Arabian Oud Kashmir Musk is one I’ve been tempted by - $360 blind buy where I live. Are the white florals prominent? Certain types of jasmine don’t play well on my skin. Musk 07 isn’t available but I just read the notes for the Swiss Arabian Musk 01 (which is available) that might be worth a try also. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my queries. I do love your perfume reviews.

Honestly they all have incredible longevity and sillage. They're all different though so it entirely depends on what scent profile you like. What ever you choose, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Haibah is quite similar to Roja's Aoud/Amber Aoud. But I think Haibah is more complex. Hope that helps.

I personally think Cardamom smells the best for a man. If you want something sweet and spicy then the caramel one is nice. How did you come across the Andy Tauer scent? I bought my first bottle over a decade ago and went for the more concentrated version when I replaced it. LoneStar Memories is another really special smoky scent that might be to your husbands liking.
