Because Rossi (& Rick) have been Quo for so long, it's easy to forget that Alan was actually the main singer in the band until at least '75. And contributed his fair share of original songs, too. As a kid I used to think his songs weren't as 'sophisticated' as Rossi's, but as an adult I can see I was wrong. Alan Lancaster was ROBBED of his place in Quo, & it's a travesty.

Great track for bringing Richie Malone into play. Riffs, short solos and vocal harmonies shared equally between him and Frame. Great live sound even better than the studio recording, tight and well rehearsed. This song with extra live vibe, invites you to boogie along to an intriguing back-story.

On top of the pops they weren't great, but from the first time I first saw them Live - Empire Pool Wembley - 1973 they were in a class of their own. Happy memories. Sadly, they are not the same without Rick. RIP Mate.
