How were the shoulders on the Pan American Sur Highway? Did you have a headwind traveling south?

They were fine. And yes, sometimes and some days headwinds were really strong. However it got worse as you got closer to Chilean border.

@@FatihAksoy35 I only have a short time, so I am doing Nazca to Lima in one week, everyone I've watched on youtube indicated a South to North wind mostly, so I am hoping that will be the case for me. Were there any sandstorms, or the like? Did you feel safe on the roads, between the cities I am planning to travel on, or was there a threat of robbery in that section?

@@QuestionMark4Ever It was very safe to travel in that area. People were friendly. No there were no sandstorms and it can be very warm at times. And there are little restaurants and cafes on the side of the road as well as fruit shacks. Motels are very cheap to rest at nights and they are very safe as well. You have nothing to worry about.
