I enjoyed watching this collaboration. I came to this after interacting with Ken briefly on a FB curly girl page in which he shared his knowledge. ( thanks,Ken!) I already use some of the Jessicurl line,and think Jess' explanations were most helpful. I know she has since passed away,but she appears to have been a delightful person! I'm sure she is greatly missed by you both,and all others in this industry.

This is my favorite gel. Numero uno! I have tried switching brands before and while some gels come close, they still fall short. Raw Curls Firm Hold Gel helps your wash day results last longer. I put it in the palm of my hand and add a little water to make it slippery/smooth. I use this gel as my last step after curl cream, lighter hold gel and brush style or rake and shake. My hair is fine, low density and is salt and pepper colour. Lots of silver :) I have loose curls mixed with tighter ringlets as it gets longer. I wish I knew all this curly hair stuff many years ago when I had much more hair! lol

They aren’t showing the “carve and slice”. If you have white girl curls… be aware… the carve and slice will thin your hair! I don’t think they did it to her hair. About 1/3 of my curls are gone!

This could have been a more informative podcast if you’d talked about the products on the table instead of spending much of the time telling testers off. No, I’m not a tester or intend to be. But I do use and really like your products and always welcome information on what they do and how to use them to get the best results. So please use the time to convey information that matters to us. If you’re unhappy with your testers, convey that to them privately. Don’t involve the rest of us. Merry Christmas!

Thank yu Dr. Randolph. Is that the 1.25 vit dihydroxyvitamin D? Do you recommend taking vit K with Vit D? Coud you tell us exactly the blod test we need to take please? All the docs I have seen say that Hormone testing is not reliable as it fluctuates daily and even within a day and they use symptoms instead. I know that high estrogen can cause hair loss as well as low Estrogen it is so hard to know. I have started using Androgel which is 1.62% testosterone in addition oto androgel and progesterone, does this testosterone negatively affect DHT and cause hair breakage and loss or help it?

Just because your a doctor doesn’t mean you are abreast of how to speak properly. BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT THE ONLY ETHNICITY THAT EXISTS. We know you all have no culture and can’t relate or correlate your history to anything: but please refrain from categorizing black people and always stating that we don’t work hard and we use cheap products. The bursts industry is a multi billion dollar industry, who do you think did that, us.

Her hair is naturally straight! There is no frizz - her roots are smooth and straight! All you're doing is styling it curly - nothing more. And the cut - what cut? Your simply trimmed a few bottom strands. I have very curly and frizzy hair that I've spent my life combating. It does not help those of us with REAL curly hair when we see videos like yours for "dealing with curly hair" done with people who do not have naturally curly hair. All it does is show us you truly don't understand.

What is your drug of choice? Just curious. Because it is incredible, whatever it is. Wow.

When you assume what we use on our hair, now you're considered incredible. This is why many "ethnic" people don't trust medical professionals... You're very bias! 😮Please stop assuming what we use and do to our hair. As if Caucasians don't use cheap products in their hair🙄 *I work in healthcare and I was flabbergasted on how the dermatologist was "Googling" what I could use for my scalp concerns.... Sorry, not sorry but that's not how I like to waste my money on any specialist. You guys are unreal!

What kind of cut (dry or wet) would be good for someone with short wavy/curly hair with many cowlicks throughout the whole head and then what stylists in Orlando, Florida recommended?
@JaneSmith07093 жыл бұрын
Don't alienate any professionals, they might not buy your products. I can't stand wishy washy answers like, "They're both best." This is basically an ad for products. I'd rather find a video of someone's opinion who has no vested interest in the answer other than their experience on their own hair. Bye.
@CurlyHairQA19 күн бұрын
The answer didn't have anything to do with products. It's not wishy-washy. If you had comprehensive curly hair training over the course of a 28 year career owning a curly hair-specific salon, you wouldn't be making comments such as this. Did you even WATCH the entire video? She spends 5 minutes explaining the "why". And the Raw Curls brand does not pursue professionals to purchase products - the brand and it's strategy is more concerned with properly educating consumers. smh.

Not about devacurl, but have you ever heard any reviews on her (Lorraine Massey) newer or other products curly world. I heard someone say they love them but they also love devacurl. It was my first time hearing of them. I never could get on the bandwagon on DC- the smell was just too much for me and I just wasn’t impressed with my results to spend the money. I love your Raw curls line and love your videos so I’m here for whatever you chose to do!

@annebauman48853 жыл бұрын
Ken - I can appreciate that you are extended to your limits. However, I feel it is unprofessional to begin a series about the importance of water solubility and then decide not finish it. I have specifically tuned in for the last several episodes to hear about this topic. I feel that you should have been prepared to deliver all chapters before you even announced the series. I understand why, but I do think it undermines your credibility. If we are being asked to spend our hard earned money (especially in difficult times) on a superior product, we should be able to hear the “why”. I appreciate the quality, organic ingredients, but I would like to hear why that should be important to me. In a world of limited resources, we need information to make decisions where to best spend our money. You are asking us to trust your word but then tarnish that trust by failing to follow through.

Question (and not trying to be confrontational): There are many factors that affect price other than quality of ingredients. Not questioning Raw Curls dedication to quality ingredients, but customer service, advertising, convenience, and packaging all play a role. Priced by the ounce, Raw Curls products are priced at the same level as Innersense. If Innersense is offering free shipping at $25, live chat with curl professionals who earn commission, returns, sophisticated packaging, expensive looking social media advertising, and the convenience of purchase at a local Ulta - Raw Curls is a more expensive product. How does Raw Curls justify the current price point, if you are not offering the same services as Innersense? I love Raw Curls, and I am not saying the products aren’t worth the price. I am just anxious to hear your reasoning.
