I have always wanted games to look like those old pre rendered cgi videos but in real time. And we are getting closer and closer to that and in some areas such as the textures, games have surpassed the visuals in real time than those CGI cutscenes. ff16 is visually very close to this. Just missing the level of detail when it comes to the hair and the water that are on display here and maybe the cloth physics are more refined here, and something just feels better when to comes to the overall lighting compared to today's real time visuals. I feel that the ff7 remake addresses those issues though. The latest ff7 remake part 2 trailer in real time shows off hair of the same caliber that is presented here and maybe a bit better with good lighting. I think there is only one game out there that is close to beating this in all areas and that is ratchet and clank rift apart, but the water is still not as good lol. It's just something about that water man that we have yet to reach in real time.

People shit on FFX It's the only final fantasy game I really enjoyed playing, the new ones are kind of boring the old ones are just way too retro to hold my interest, these cut scenes are still holding up oddly enough.

Funny how game technology has come a long way. Now FF15 and FF7 Remake's gamplay graphics look way better than FF10's pre-rendered cutscenes.

The cutscene at 20:06 should have been before the cutscene at 2:37 And the cutscene at 18:38 is a repeat of the cutscene at 12:19

7:10 and 8:09 She was carried her baby in earlier scene when Sin attacked Kilika. A Mom who lost his kids and baby OMG, she couldn't stand it, when she fell down I could imagine it...I'm mom as well, it must be really hurt on her

This is honestly one of my favorite games when I was little, still is today, I would watch my dad play it (One of his favorite games too) and I was so intrigued by the story, that I had to play it myself, and I think it is what made me want to tell stories like this. :)

13:00 Considering the wedding scene, if this involved Kingdom Hearts and included Marvel characters, I can imagine Nick Fury crashing the wedding first, then interrupting the Maesters as the ceremony is conducted: "Oh, I'm sorry, did I break your concentration? Please, continue. I'm just waiting for the part where you say, 'if any think that these should be bonded together in holy matrimony, speak now, or forever hold your peace.' At least that's how it's said in weddings back where I come from"
