I don't know why but my ti inspire cx won't let me click the cross product, unit vector, or dot product. It only permits me to click the "convert to to polar" "convert to rectangular/cylindrical/spherical/" option. By any chance do you know how to fix this? thank you

Shouldn't P(T, A) also be 1/6? Considering there are two T's in the bag I don't see how that is any different from the (T,T) case?
@haywoodsmath
@haywoodsmath 6 ай бұрын
Yes there is an error in the video. P(T, A)=2/12 = 1/6.

Hi Joseph, You can. Do you mean like this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnrRgmiIaMx8rMUsi=tFtuqa3bDeIw1T7Z&t=144 You have to do two brackets at a time unless you use this video's technique: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXvIiodopNl9fZosi=7sOeJbF1TcGDVJ57&t=302

Hi, is there a way to increase the size of the calculator on the screen? My size button is inactive when I go to click on it.
@haywoodsmath
@haywoodsmath 10 ай бұрын
Not sure why your button is not making the video bigger. Try closing the window and opening it up again? Otherwise you could change your display settings on your laptop by searching display settings and then changing the 150% to 125% or 175%.

Just do this to reset the calculator to the default settings, so you don’t have to worry about what random settings you have set: - Press the “2nd” button - Press 9 (which has “CLR” above it) - Press 3 for “all” - As it says, press the = button and then “AC” to verify For Casio it’s the same, but the “2nd” button is “shift”.

You are correct that is the easiest way to clear all settings.

An angle closest to 45 determines range. A would have a bigger initial x component but its time of flight would be so little compared to b that it wouldn't travel far.

cheers for explaining question 13, Just wondering how you determined it was only a quarter turn,?
@haywoodsmath
@haywoodsmath Жыл бұрын
Sorry I didn't fully explain this in the video. If you look at Faraday's Law for EMF it has A (perpendicular to magnetic field) or A x cos (theta). This means as it rotates from theta = 0 degrees (angle between coil and magnetic field) to theta = 90 degrees it has undergone only a quarter turn (or 90 degree turn). This is not a full rotation. So that is why we times 0.02 by 4 to get the full change in time.
@doyder1162
@doyder1162 2 ай бұрын
@@haywoodsmath I've looked at faraday's law for EMF but I don't understand how you get A x cos(theta)
@nickyystant
@nickyystant 2 ай бұрын
@@doyder1162 flux = ABcos(theta), the only reason u usually use flux = AB is because u usually deal with situations where the angle is adjusted so the cos(theta) term is irrelevant (i.e. cos(0) = 1). so the change in flux that faradays law deals with can also be the change in the cosine of the angle
