@OurSliceOfCanada20 күн бұрын
@Marker5620 күн бұрын
@OurSliceOfCanada18 күн бұрын
@Marker5618 күн бұрын

Lol! Almost! At the beginning I say how good of a job he's doing cleaning the house, and ask him to waive into the camera. :) But then I see that he is heavily leaning on one of the braces and telling him to stop doing that as those braces are holding the house together and the house going to collapse if he continues to do so. LOL

Beautiful Scenery 🇨🇦 ! The framing always appears to go quickly and then things look like they slow down as all the mechanical rough ins happen. As a general contractor of about 30 years I’ve never seen the OSB sheathing taped. Your labour is free and the cost of a few rolls of tape is cheap though. So it can’t hurt . Lol

Just wondering why you put the vapour barrier between the layers of insulation instead of on top of the gravel ? 🇨🇦
@OurSliceOfCanada3 ай бұрын
You can totally do it, in our case because of the recess (8") in the center of the slab it was easier to deal with this way. We have only one layer (2") under the vapour barrier in that area .
@qualitybydesign51193 ай бұрын
My next questions are why the 8” recess ( is it structural for fireplace masonry) and how did the concrete pour go ? I’m planning on doing the same frost protected shallow foundation in Ontario . Thanks for the info .

Looks like you have that same hose mess scraping and putting pressure on the windshield that my new one has. A little dust on the sheath and scratches will form in that area. Kioti hose management sucks and that's how they say it should be. Wish I had noticed that before taking delivery. Otherwise mine is a good tractor.
@OurSliceOfCanada4 ай бұрын
Not sure I am following you. All the hoses are a couple of inches off the windshield, the only one that might be touching it is one of the third function hose. But I think I can tighten it up so it won't touch the windshield. I might show it one day. 🤞
@unemployedredneckhillbilly20234 ай бұрын
@@OurSliceOfCanada Once my bucket is higher then the hood the hoses put extreme force on the windshield. Maybe it's something with the heavier 4030 loader I got that has extra reach and digging depth. I recently posted a grapple video and about 6 minutes in you can see it.
