I am truly so happy to have finally heard Enemy with the opening credits style music and without the JID rap so thank you for that. But I am begging you to please release a version of this with the parts you have removed for your reason of "redundancy"? I truly do respect your view on this but you'll make so many people happy with that version and likely a silly massive view count also.

"I dislike Jids part" is fine, but SOMEONE in the comments refers to jid as "the black guy" which clearly shows that people hate on jids part because its a black guy rapping in an imagine dragons song

look its fine if you like this version but saying that JID ruins the song is absolutly insane, he is literally saying about the same thing as the other version like i really want people to understand that whent you incorparate a different genre into a song it will change the flow of the song. it starts off chill, then goes into paranoia, then it becomes intrusive thoughts being unleashed. Like i said many times if you dont like rap just say it, dont hide it behind a "it didnt fit" excuse

I hope they release an official solo version like they did with the original song. Because JID's voice really doesn't fit with the overall composition. You listen, you like everything, but when his part starts, you immediately get the feeling, what the hell is this? He breaks and grates on your ears with his performance.

@@CryptecPellI don't know if you saw it. But if you watch the video of this song, towards the end theres a black dude that raps, which doesn't really fit into the song. Idk his name, and I'm assuming the person who made the comment doesn't know either, hench why they called them the black guy lol.

i kinda dont like how it uses the entire version of the non-jid version of the song instead of the version we had for the opening theme (the "-y -y -y -y" is replaced by "pray it away, i swear i'll never be a saint") until the end

I removed the “pray it away” in off from the first and second chorus to avoid redundancy with the bridge and to replicate the sense of build-up present in the original version. Intensity and silence are instruments; the JID version and the official opening title version don't seem to get it.

@@YamiZee redundancy is a bad thing if you repeat the gimmick that is meant to give the final chorus a punch. That's why the original version of the song only has the "pray it away" at the end.
