What line test? When tying 80# leaders To circle hooks (grouper) making 4 wraps the knot gets unwieldy, 3 wraps I feel it’s not stout enough. Never broke the knot though, always the leader above it (tensioning heat). it is s strong knot

are we sure we are running enough engines, cilinders and horse power? I'm not sure if 24 cilinders and 1.400 hp will do the job.

I ordered two of these based on the reviews. kzbin.infoUgkxqmKabisEv81ul5v7OhvVxxOpt2CJruI- Received them on time and they look good. I really like the handle on these knives as they feel good in my hand. I'm giving them 4 stars on look and feel, but have not had the chance to put them to the test yet. I mostly fish for catfish and can hopefully try them out in the next few days. If they hold an edge throughout a limit of catfish, they'll be worth another star.Update...I used the 9" strong and the 9" fillet on a mess of catfish. I did put a sharpening on these before I started. I want a razor edge to fillet fish but they weren't quite that sharp. The people who gave these knives crappy reviews and said they were sending them back was because they weren't razor sharp. So what, do they not have a knife sharpener?? Good grief! I mean you have to sharpen any knife from time to time.I personally like them and am pleased with them. If you're too lazy to sharpen a knife then hire someone to clean your fish lol.I've never bought a knife in my life that would shave hair right out of the box. Don't be afraid to purchase the knives. They're pretty nice in my opinion.

There are actually better videos on how to do this with instructions that are focused on the fish. All this guy wants to do is sell his knives which you do not need.

I have struggled in the past trying to fillet a redfish because everyone who has done it knows how tough the shin and scales can be. I generally end up just scaling it and leaving it whole. I'm gonna give this Bubbablade a try maybe it'll help me get the fillets I want. Thanks for the vid!!

Looks like he marinated that fish in the sun for a few hours before he cut it up. Brain spike , bleed and into Saltwater ice slurry if you want the best condition for your catch
@tommycscat
@tommycscat 2 жыл бұрын
That's not a pumpkin sword. It's not orange, it's red. You didn't bleed it... Immediately gut and gill, then throw it in a saltwater and ice slurry. Then fillet it. What you have is a strong tasting sword with high mercury there. Always gut and gill. Bleeding is everything. Plus, that fish is pretty young.

wth is double main line
@crustybear
@crustybear 2 жыл бұрын
It is quite common in Big Game Fishing to double over your main line for example with a Bimini Twist. This essentially creates a big loop, that some people claim doesn't lose you any line strength ("100% knot"). Depending on how you see it, you either have a very big loop now (to attach stuff like wind-ons) or you can also see that as a "doubled line". If you now use that doubled line for example with a uni knot or clinch knot, both of which are not 100% knots, you still get a 100% connection because your line is doubled (assume clich is ~ 80% line strength, but tied to a doubled over line (200%) you still end up with 160% line strength on the doubled part, which is more than your mainline, so it doesnt become a point of failure)

@jasonbourne1596
@jasonbourne1596 Жыл бұрын
You're not going to find no naturally aspirated inboard with 1750 HP, and even if you could, it wouldn't be reliable. If going the inboard route you would be better of with 2 engines, then at least if one breaks you can make it back and not die in the storm. This way if one tears up they lost 25 percent of that power not all of it.

Why would you go in reverse at all over idle..? in a boat with 3 motors? Reverse is for docking. Docking mode puts the middle motor in neutral. You people are trying to inform people on shit that you yourself have absolutely no idea what you're talking about 😂
