I just prefer the look of the vintage. The new chanel bags just look plain to me. Before the pandemic price hike, I was able to get two chanel jumbo bags and a maxi all in great condition for a fraction of today's cost. My favorite is my chanel patent leather jumbo in black. I know patent leather isn't popular, but I just love it. The quilting is not flat, and it is in good condition.

Hi Morgan, I was hoping you would please give me some advice. I am disabled and the closest place to shop luxury like Chanel is at least a days drive away so I would have to order online. I’m interested in the Chanel Business Affinity, but I have some pretty significant neck pain and spine issues. Is there a huge difference in weight of the medium compared to the small size? I know I would not want a large. Also, have you ever bought from a seller on eBay? There’s one I think I want on there but it’s non returnable. It is authenticated by eBay and I would try to find a service to run authenticity as well although I have never done that . Please help me 🙏

I have the Chinese New Year version of the LV mini pochette, and I use it as a bag charm like across the whole front of the bag (loop thru hardware that holds handle of main purse), through 2 belt loops instead of 1, and I’ve even added it as a 4th compartment to my multi pochette accessiore😂

I just want to provide a counter example to the argument People seem to have that you should buy Hermes BECAUSE the quality is so superior. I purchased a pair of their ankle strap leather sandals and one of the buckles was installed improperly or had some sort of defect that meant I could not unbuckle the ankle strap on that side. It’s simply Was installed in the wrong direction or bent so that the leather strap would not release from the buckle. Had to send them back. Refunded but no apology or acknowledgment. So I’m not convinced of this superior quality argument. I’m 0 - 1 on Hermes leather goods at this point.

I sold things on The Real Real for 4 years. I stopped. I want nothing to do with them. The shadiest outfit you can imagine. They often and i mean often- sell things for MORE than buying new from the designer store. Sometimes they sell an item for $5 less than buying it brand new from the store. Why not just go to the boutique and buy it? That’s not all. One time they actually lost a purse which was picked up by my representative, for me to sell on their site. It took over one year for me to get a “ site credit” from them, for $100. Meaning i did not get cash, i had to buy something from them, for my lost purse. That’s not all! I decided to buy an expensive leather moto jacket from them, and measurements were on the page with the jacket. I am super skinny, under 110 pounds, like a size 2. They measured wrong and i could not even zip the jacket. I gave it away to my friend’s daughter. Then i made the mistake of buying 2 Zimmermann expensive blouses, and they gave measurements for each one. They should have fit, according to the measurements. But they were HUGE. I can’t wear them and they are just collecting dust. Be warned. Don’t buy or sell with this company.
