@mrgeneralwasp back off until you have a full picture you should have full image through the entire scope there shouldnt be any black around the edges then just pull it in tight and your good to go

This was my first time shooting this gun (I rented it from the range), so I didn't know how far my eye should be from the scope, nor did I think to wear protection.

try acking up off the scope eye protection is to protect your eyes from a potentail gas blowback your eye is way to close for that caliber
