Spoken like someone who has never gotten lessons. No offense meant. There's nothing like having real live feedback from a professional. Sure, videos online can be helpful but only if you know exactly what you need to work on. Each person has a unique swing and would mostly benefit from someone who has analyzed hundreds/thousands of swings looking with undivided attention at their swing, and receiving feedback on the things that will most immediately improve their swing. Otherwise people will self-diagnose and build bad habits.

@@stove.d that's fair. I personally have had bad experience with lessons so that probably doesnt help my bias. I do feel like there's plateau points that you can reach in which seeking a lesson could be beneficial but unless you are trying to go professional I don't think a weekly or series of lessons is necessary. At the end of the day that's just my opinion.

@@dirdygolf that's a bummer. Now that you mention it I had a few bad lessons as a kid that did nothing to help my swing. Going as an adult who has put a lot of time and thinking into my swing, lessons had a monumental impact on my game. Granted I did find one of the highest rated coaches in my area. I agree weekly is not necessary, I got a 5-lesson deal and have only used 3 of them so far, and that was last season. Even just a few lessons per season can have a huge impact. At ~$100/lesson, that's a great investment into your game, and will reward you much more than any equipment you could buy.

@@GodDanGolf Grip is first and foremost in the golf swing, have to start there. One more thing and I'll shut up; dont overload yourself with 'fixes', ONE at a time and dont get discouraged no matter what. Enjoy your golf journey. 😄

@@TMar1961Thank you buddy ! I have been in searching of coaches. Apparently different coaches have different style and most of them just want to get your ball launching and end of story. I found a new coach and he made me realised how my grip can increase the speed
