Hi! ive got a tele build that i am working on for a long time. Ive got these pups in my cupboard. Did you use a 500k pot on the SD vintage stack?

This guitar has 500k CTS pots

Lemme guess, t doesn't sound like a Dyna Comp?
@BartDietvorst11 күн бұрын
No, not at all 😉 but it's a decent compressor in it's own right.
@gaboasis2112 күн бұрын
I have the same guitar and appears in some videos of my channel ,mine made in Indonesia. I changed my pickups for an Epiphone probuckers. Was a great change. When i get this guitar i felt like sounds weak or not brighter that i expect. So thats it. Where is made yours?
@BartDietvorst12 күн бұрын
Mine is made in China (as most Epiphone guitars post 2005). The puckups sound pretty good to my ears.
@gaboasis2112 күн бұрын
@ nice ! Maybe y prefer bit of brightness on my guitars. But in other way, its supposed that les Paul custom sound is more fat than Bright right?
@BartDietvorst12 күн бұрын
@@gaboasis21 I tried several newe Gibson LP Customs but I think these actually sound more muddy with less highs than the Epiphone. A real ebony board and maple cap (like on the Gibsons) on the Epi would make it sound more snappy but that would make them more expensive I guess.

Nice! I have the same guitar in Cherry burst, which I've had since it was new. I added a Tusq nut and changed the wiring (not the pups) and switch - it's a great guitar. Plays as well as my Gibson LP.

Great playing, but either the strings are old, or the wood is too soft to produce any clarity. Dull sounding guitar maybe. Not your playing, that's awesome ;)

Yep, that's it. The worst, weediest, clean guitar tone I ever heard. It's actually surprising Kemper didn't pay you to take this down. Remember when demos were done by people who had some kind of clue. 🙈

For FX yes but you can have 2 different amp presets in the IR2 to switch between too (f.e. clean md distortion).

Great demo! bought one too but I'm having some hum & electrical interference picked up:/ I sea your recording is super clean, any advice on how to fix these issues?! Thanks!
@BartDietvorstАй бұрын
Thanks! Maybe the problem lies in your amped and/or power situation. Or maybe you're near a laptop/computer that's causing this? Mine works fine, the other guitar player in my band just used it for a gig last week and it performed great. Or possibly there could be something wrong with yours, in which case I'd return and exchange it for another one.

Not sure if I understand your question right through Google translate but you need a 9V negative center power adapter to power this pedal (as you do with all mini sized pedals).
