My regards again and respect to Desi on behalf of myself Krystal (Twice My Age)and my sister Shelly Dean add Pat Carpenter (formerly of the Ebony Sisters), who Chalice Originals discovered and named by Desi and Bliah at San Mar restaurant summer 1980 after the hurricane that started our popular and international music careers, which started then on the Jamaican hotel circuit and in the music industry worldwide. RIP big brother.❤😢😢😢

Rest in Peace 🌟 " The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord " I enjoyed watching you play at WDNA studios in Miami 2010 as a member of Dr Kathy Brown and friends Jazz group. You were phenomenal. Many musicians will follow your footsteps inspired by your excellence. 🌹

It’s still so hard to believe that Desi is no longer physically with us. His humour, care for others, extraordinary talent & genius was experienced by thousands and especially his beautiful family, wife and my dearest friend Judith, and children Jody & Joshua as well as other family members and friends. You demonstrated what it means to be a loving husband, father, son, brother to many people including me. Your kindness even extended to my dearly departed Mum, assisting her when needed and something I will forever be grateful for. Desi, you will forever be honoured, revered, remembered and respected for the person that you were, and as the iconic musician and son of Jamaica and its music. Rest Peacefully Desi and thanks so much for being who you were amongst us, never to be forgotten 🙏🏾♥️🌹

A very fitting farewell tribute to the memory of this master drummer. The sound of the horns from the band cannot be heard and that spoiled it for me. Blessings and condolences for his family and many friends

I thought I was the only one with that opinion! There are so many voices that could have provided the requisite tone for a gentle spirit like Desi's! Not a good choice at all.Chopping a minute from people ' s performance is certainly not for public hearing!! That was crass and highly unnecessary!

Yes, was not respectful at all. This is not a festival that police go lock of the show. This is a tribute to the legendary drummer of all time. May his soul rest in power
