So, just by doing the math in terms of how much shorter each Arc would be (and thus all of Season 1), it would like this: Arc 1: 1 & 1/2 episodes long. Arc 2: 4 episodes long Arc 3: (A little over) 7 episodes long Which means technically Season 1 would probably come out to maybe close to 13 episodes in total. So, 12 episodes are technically not canon, in terms of what is the true timeline. Now for Season 2: Arc 4: 17 & 1/2 (probably closer to 18) episodes long Meaning Season 2 is (maybe) 18 episodes long in terms of what is in the true timeline, and 7 episodes are not canon. I'm still including flashbacks and even events that happened with Echidna and the other witches, despite being outside of time and space, as none of those moments were erased. Not including Season 3, the first 2 Seasons of Re:Zero come out to only 31 episodes that are canon, and 19 that are not.

FR the anime does NOT do GOH justice. GOH was how I gat ino Manhwa, powerscaling, LNs, and all that. It was like a gateway. Too bad more people don't talk abt it.

They've been making subtitles for the jp dub since 4.0 please watch that form now on. The dub is garbage, they cant pronounce names correctly nor do the sound like they care. Also the VAs have been changed like 30 times across multiple characters. Its pointless

2:13 in either the end of volume 9 or beginning of volume 10 of the light novels, while Subaru is meeting up with Crusch after her memories were eaten (right before Subaru asked Emilia to turn around so he could cry over Rem), Willhelm tells Subaru about the blessing of the grim reaper caused by the sword strike of his wife, whereas it wasn't revealed until season 3 episode 8 of the anime, which I thought was interesting

Yeah but then the entire point of the season would be useless. Subaru died over and over and over, just because he refused to let anyone die. If he just let her die, then every speech he made would’ve had no meaning.

If you look back you can pinpoint the time she got erased by noting the message sent to roswaal mansion was blank. Rem wrote to them about the alliance forged but due to her erasure it came to them as a blank message by the time subaru and the group got back to the territory being met with hostility

I found out about re:zero back when s1 came out or shortly after. And after finding vids recently talking about it, such as this vid, I really do need to watch it as the story seems so beautifully fucked and the multiple timeline shit us part of it.

'beautifully fucked' is a great description honestly. Without spoilers, someone who considers him their 'greatest hope' gave him an insane ultimatum in season 2 that very much left him mind broken
