Ive played roblox since 2014. Ive played for well over 10k hours, and its so sad to see all of these trash games on the front page. They have so thought on interesting features like player vs player combat (it would probably turn away the normal child player). So, instead of playing garbage games, im making my own.

Its not addiction. Thats tok much of a victim mentality. A lot of blox piece players stay after getting the things they want. While the luck makes it more exclusive and also a cash grab. The real issue is theres no sense of community in these niche animal crossing ass games. Fantastic frontier works exclusively as a single olayer experience. And has a lot less interaction for the mmo experience that roblox thrives off. And even then. A real game will always wipe out Roblox games in terms of single player experiences 9/10 so it doesnt have a stream of income thats strong. Just a dedicated community. Gotta break that barrier.

Every time I play a game where you collect pets I instantly think of it as gambling and it puts me off immediately. If they made it so pets can only be made good not hatched as a chance and you can upgrade pets to give you cool extras then I'd be fine with it. But a chance to get rare pets for very good multipliers is boring

Another reason can be the lack of promotion or trend through youtubers. KZbinrs known for playing popular games should also try these good small games on their videos. This can even remove roblox's conventional reputation as a kid's game. I have played roblox for like 5-6 years and explored all types of games f. Roblox doesn't deserve beind underestimated like this.

If you say blox fruits is bad because of the grinding you are literally just trash. The majority of the children stay in 1-2 sea because they don’t have the brain cells to grind and (mostly) the older people are in 3rd sea or are max level and they can be either very fun to talk to or just arguing very shitty but stbg has taken all the children who cant reason because tsbg doesn’t have any grind. Blox fruits isn’t bad, it’s the community and devs that can make it bad. The devs tryna make the pvp as unfair as possible but I’ll still play. The players abusing those unfair items are ruining the game but I can still have fun in it. A lot of good games get overtaken by the devs and communities greed. (by adding unfair things for in return more money like new permanent fruits and game passes such as scrolls in blox fruit’s case) The community, in return, abuses those things and gathers more younger audiences to play the game so the devs make even more money. I think other games are not popular because that’s just how the world works. Work less get more, work harder get less. Similar on youtube, KZbinrs with shitty videos like for example, shorts KZbinrs get tons of views because they take advantage of the easily abusable community that exists in this world. I saw this one blox fruits short recently of someone just walking up to one of the bosses in blox fruits, playing phonk music and putting a skull emoji in the middle of the screen, and that’s it. That short got 1.3 mil views and that youtuber has over 2 million subs and all their vids are just extremely shitty shorts where they will literally do anything, post it, and get tons of views. While my fav KZbinrs which play blox fruits and bloons td battles 2 are not getting recognition because they don’t abuse the community but instead use hard work.

There is this very good but underrated game called The Experiment that I loooove. It has few cheap gamepasses, no gambling whatsoever, and most importantely, is a passion project. It has good optimization, amazing lore, and A LOT of things to do. The thing is, at first glance, it seems like you are just stuck in a cell with random stuff happening once in a while, and most people don't look past that, causing the player counts to be extremely low. It is also a waiting game, so it is not stimulating enough for a lot of people. I think it is a perfect example.

Evade and 3008 are good but the only game that is forgotten from the past is Combat Warriors. The reason why this game is forgotten is that it does not receive updates. Even if it does, it is mostly updated on p2w. It is still good.

Im glad starscape gets some mentions, and im pretty sure that part about development and 1-6 developers was definitely refering to starscape (which has one dev). And the thing about players not being able to find their way around is also a horrible issue, which is why so many players that acctually want to see their game succed try to get discords, and keep in touch and help them develop instead of just leaving the game. On a good note <3 from a starscape veteran.
