The shot of that huge tail moving back and forth is incredible. It reminds me of the movie The Reef when they get the first shadowy underwater glimpse of the shark. The main character sees the exact same thing, just a quick sight of that huge tail moving and then it vanishes. The other three ask him what if it’s a shark and he says “I don’t know, maybe”. But he knows it is, and it’s a huge Great White. A few moments later he appears. Anyone who hasn’t seen it I highly recommend it. The photography is real shark footage and the way it’s done makes it really look like they’re in the water with him.🦈🙂

great catch man! ive always spear fished the oceanside/carlsbad area right off the beach, but ive been wanting to boat into a nice kelp forest!

Nice! I was almost that close to a whale last week out by Oceanside while kayak fishing and it was awesome. What kinda gloves are those and how thick are they? I gotta get back into freedive spearfishing. Take care and stay safe out there.
