Juliet. I am wondering if you have an episode from April 1965 when we were given ice cream cones with mashed potatoes instead of ice cream. I came across a letter from candid camera and I was in this episode. I would love to see it. Thank you

I would have loved to see people's reaction when they realized who they were sitting next to. :) That was pretty hysterical though - bless the Master and the Stone Face!

The sad thing is that intelligent women like this were often wasted on taking dictated letters in this era.

Juliet...Could you PLEASE check your archives and post the kids eating ice cream (and making a mess)? I was the kid Mr. Funt called "Mr. Clean". To which he added..."Wouldn't you be proud to be his mother?" I'd love for my children to see it. It would've been from the same time period as the above clip 1960 or 61. Thank you.. :)

America has degenerated morally so badly. The best time in history for America was the 50s and 60s. People who grew up during this time had at the best. Today everything is Sodom and Gomorrah.

She recognized Allen Funt by name, not Woody Allen. I'm guessing this is from about 1963 or so and most people did not know Woody Allen then. I remember seeing him for the first time on this show when I was a kid.

It's odd that these Candid Camera episodes are never on television (as far as I know) and there are very few available on the internet. It seems to me they could be a mini-gold mine both as hidden camera comedy and as a look back at the bygone innocence of America.

That was funny as hell. I am still wiping away tears, I laughed so hard. This was real comedy, performed by the master. Buster Keaton has been gone for nearly 50 years, but thanks to modern technology, he is still making people laugh. He was truly a genius.

Would love to have that convertible! Interesting how cynical our world has become in last half century. There's an innocence to those good Sams that tried to help lady, that we rarely see today.Love this show for a glimpse into my parents & grandparents past world.Thank you for posts.

There is in KZbin another clip from this broadcast a church bell manufacturer. Very funny clip. 1963 was the year Arlene Francis nearly died in a car wreck and in this broadcast she seems sort of . . . well, flushed. Tipsy actually. I have wondered if this . . . condition was a pain med reaction or a pain med-alcohol combination side effect.
