Saturday 7th September 2024. 05.58am. Dear Sir/Madam. Good-morning. How are you? I trust you are well. I don't like Anastacia as a female singer, she is not my type at all. I find her, boring. Yours Respectfully. Mr Francesca Al Kray. 29th October 1969. Thank you.

My favourite cliffhanger from the show. After the previous seasons over the top Moldavian massacre the show got back to its roots. Family drama with arch enemies Blake and Alexis doing battle. Too bad they couldn’t keep the momentum going with the dismal seasons 7 and 8.

In 2024 Alexis would have a gun and shot Blake. Especially if they are in Texas.

Too bad her triumph didn't last, she lost everything plus more, only a few episodes later! Actually, Alexis lost the whole empire that Cecil had built, if he hadn't done that, Colbyco might have been absorbed by Blake's company through Jeff who had married Fallon. The show was really serious before Alexis, while she brought the camp and the glitz, she also brought the worse storylines that affected all the other characters. Nevertheless is was fun while it lasted!

Poor Dominique, this had to be crushing to hear how Garrett lied and betrayed her all those years, but then why go on with the fiasco knowing that the lie will eventually catch up to him and what would he say then. Still though, same ole Alexis, she's always willing to get her kicks and thrills when she meddles and schemes which of course is what she does best and is known for.

All this might seem cartoonish with the over dramatic acting and the silly dialog, but back in the 80's , this show was legend. It earned its reward for classic tv forever.👍

Weirdly enough, this scene remains to this day as one of very best crafted moments in American nighttime soap opera history. It is truly thrilling. Even now.
