If I was a bachelor, the first one. If I had a family the second one. If I primarily worked from home, the 3rd one (would make the upstairs my office space).

The Manhattan comparison is good but literally not one of these places in any of the more expensive/popular neighborhoods in manhattan would be worth anything close to these prices. They'd all be much more

This is more than 23 sqm. Are the upper floors not included in the calculation? In Germany they are. After all, they belong to someone and are not just floating in the air.

for the last/3 house i dont really like those wood panels. not because of how thel look but because of how thin they are whice result in a sound when you touch them that im not a fan of. had they used thicker ones or used some kind of heavy epoxy on the back side ( so its hiden ) so it dont make that sound i be completely fine with it

I love the contrast of white on the inside, some grey tones, then that blue sky of Tokyo at night.

I love the third one. That's about the same prove for a apt in NYC.
So, questions: - 13:20 What's the khaki-coloured, antique phone-looking thing in the corner of the bathroom counter? - How do you dust those dried bonsai without them breaking or bits crumbling off? - Where would guests find/store bedding for the fold-out couch?

1. I think you're talking about the hairdryer? 2. Canned air from far away 3. We would set it up for them

@@TokyoPortfolio 1. Oh, okay, I think I can see that. On a second look it looked kind of like a coffee machine, with a little cup on the front. But I can sort of see it's a hairdryer; its handle is folded up and back, and the condenser is off and placed below the handle. 2. The dried bonsai must be remarkably fragile. It reminds me of dried post-Christmas greenery. 3. Of course you would. :-) Thank you for the reply.

wait. its a 3 mil luxury apartment yes only one toilet ? like a pessent's house for that price i would expect at least two toilet's ( not two full bathroom's though ( one bathroom and two toilet's with a small sink each would be perfect. it is a luxury apartment after all ) also there is one small mistake in the floor plan drawing. according to the floor plan drawing there is no way to inther the bathroom ( its fully enclosed in wall's. no kind of indecated way to be able to enter the bathroom at all xD )

You know how fucked the us housing market is when you say $1000 a month is a premium place when that's super cheap in my city

I was about to say... what if you have guests over and need to drop a deuce?... Thankfully there is curtains. I mean I have pooped in public before, but never around my friends.

What if you accidentally select the wrong button when you are on the toilet and the curtains start to draw back?... What a sight to behold at the dinner table haha

All 3 are nice, but the 3rd home with the balcony is my favorite. That upstairs room would be an excellent office, and the balcony would be perfect for BBQ parties.

#1 is tasteful and minimalist. I would like it even more if the bathroom is half the size and it didn't come with a tub. I hate tub. I don't understand why a studio designed for single people would have a tub. Tub is only useful if you have kids. If I rent #1, first thing to go is that bed frame. What even is that?! Who is it for?! Great tour.

Yikes! I don’t like it at all, the remodel makes it look like a business office. And the amount of doors 🚪 is out of control. I would not rent a place like this even if it was $3,000 a month.

Does japan even has a system where you partially own the land your Bought aparement is on, in germany thats how it works if a building has buyable apartments you just own part of the land in the end preventhing things like the building being torn down or such.
