I have a 1965 dodge Monaco original 413 owned since I was 16

I grew up in the 80$ drivining these as a kid, man that brings back a LOT of memories, 65,66 Monaco’s and Polaris.I’ve always liked the gold with black, or Polaris cream color. Those are the best viewing cars while driving, u can see everything.

Just installed the rear window in my 1959 chevy truck with a bead lock it was my 1st time and today me and my wife are going to attempt to install the front windshield so last night she helped me orientate the rubber to the glass but we are both not sure its correct and trying to find it on you tube has been difficult as we are using one purchased from the truck shop which is an exact replica of the original we haven't found a video for that particular gasket most we have found are precision brand or one from brothers classic truck parts which appears to be the same but it was vague on the orientation of the rubber to the glass, there's a rubber tube that is part of the gasket that is half the length of the rubber seal and what we don't know is does this go to the top of the glass or the bottom ?, we installed the rubber with the tube running along the top of the glass last night to allow it to form so we hope its correct any help would be appreciated.

That's amazing! That 383 big block still looks small in that huge engine bay! That car looks way too good to be a parts car. Please keep the car and engine together!

it will stay together. other than rebuilding the power steering pump, its ready for the summer. I'm keeping my options open for newer Hemi swap.

Great video! , Haven't found any info on the plastic cart bodies , so I thought to interject some info to your platform.I have been restoring a ezgo 1998 with the plastic body , no cracks ,just deep scratches and surface chips .I have been using Blue Magic quick steel #16502tri yellow & black package. Prep area and apply like glaze putty , smooth it so you don't have a lot of excess.hand block sand 180 to knock down but easy. start wet sanding 400 then move to 600 .I use krylon bonding primer. Lightly wet sand at 400 to see any imperfections .

What I’m discovering is the major thing that you have to figure out is the small receiver belt that comes up through the center of the bench seat or around the outside of a bucket seat. The length of it whether you want it hard so it doesn’t slide back through the bench seat. And what length do you need

love the look of it..can you tell me more about the headlights?
@matthewa785 жыл бұрын
THANKS! the headlights are just basic sealed beams (glass) cleaned very well with paint thinner and a red scuff pad. mix reduced color of your choice mixed 50/50 with activated clear coat. spray as many coats as needed to get effect your looking for. these have 2 coats on them. the blinking right light ended up being a bad bulb. when it would get hot it would blink and go out till cool. I've since replaced them both with another painted set. thanks for watching!..... and commenting!
