I was with my girl but we still went to the few girl bars that was there for a game of pool and a giggle , there’s a few not far from my accommodation on the main road (4245) towards the walking street food area maybe 50 -100 baht for a tuk taxi , maybe 4 or 5 bars and a further one near the embassy Irish bar the girls average but nice as you expect from a quiet island , it’s predominantly Muslim so most of the ladies were Isaan 😊 Having bought the ladies a drink I asked the questions and the answer was short time 2000 long time 3000 with a 500 bar fine I hope this helps

The beach was ok nice people very chilled but for me living in Pattaya area there better beaches and equally nicer places than koh lanta like koh Chang or koh samet , but I didn’t visit every beach in Koh lanta

Maybe , I do prefer the northern genuine hospitality , but everyone seemed friendly here, where’s your top 3 Thai places ?

Ah ah we all go Pattaya for one reason , the great food on offer , but Bangla road walking street was better than Pattayas , but the different bar areas (soi ) makes Pattaya a better night out

Hi Paul hope you’re good mate , I train in Pattaya at coco beach so I can get a pump on and walk up and down 😊 but I like the gym on soi buakhao near Wetherspoons, My condo has a gym but limited but enough to get a good workout in Depending on travel allowance I might bring my supplements with me like creatine and protein powders

@ don’t think I’ve trained at Coco Beach .I usually train at the old Tony’s gym in Soi Buckhao 👍

@@AdventuresWithSi You'd have to research what would constitute a violation leading to demonetization...i think you can get away with like 3-4 seconds of a song/track before it dings you. To be safe, I'd try to mute the music and voice over the scenes...hope this helps..

@AdventuresWithSi Cool...i was in Thailand for 3 month last year at 59 had wrapped up work,flew home in to birmingham and started having terrible stomach pains...6 weeks down the line after loads of doc visits i admitted my self in to hospital....Appendix and half my stomach removed and cancer removed...3 month recovery,6 month chemo and in August found it has returned for the worse now just waiting for outcome if anything can be done... Morale of the Story i wasted too much time working and not enough time on myself... I watched your journey from the airport and the drunks and it made me smile Good luck Si and remember their is always some one watching your interesting journey ...Thanks...Rant over
