Do you feel that the need for travel agents has grown since you made this video 4 years ago? It’s almost August & I’ve been really considering joining Inteletravel but have reservations of booking anything right away to due to the time of year it is. I don’t have much of a following on social media. I don’t have a large group of friends or family to rely on for bookings either.

Absolutely, the need for travel agents has indeed grown significantly in the past few years. Especially for more complex trips or for busy clients, having a travel agent is invaluable. Many of my clients simply don't have the time or desire to do all the research and trust my expertise and experience to handle it all for them. When I started, I also didn’t have a large social media following or a big network of friends and family for bookings. Most of my clients came through word of mouth, social media, and families. We can teach you how to market effectively, including social media marketing. There are also plenty of marketing tools provided by suppliers, and I can guide you on creating free digital content, business cards, and even a mobile site. Hi! Thank you for the video. I have watched your video implemented the t&c with credit auth in my travel inquiry. If the client puts in the correct amount and authorizes the amount how do I get the money into my account. I did not invoice and it is not showing any in the trip funds either.

Hi, you still need to create an invoice and use direct pay. You can send money to yourself and mark it as a research fee.

@kutthroatbarbie100 I may as things have changed for them and myself. I have found that many quit because they were looking for a Job atmosphere where they have dedicated trainers and guidance and quickly realized it was up to them to be successful

Congrats! You should pay the supplier as the clients make their payments. As long as you keep up with the dates provided by the supplier, you're good. I collect monthly to make it easier on all

Thank you for this content! Very informative. I am trying to book my first big group cruise in Japan(30+) for 2025. Princess Cruises as well as other cruise lines do not provide a link or on their app a way for individual clients to pay for their trips until it is paid in full. Im not sure how will Travel Joy help me to do this. The cruise line is basically telling me that if a client wants to make a payment, they will have to reach out to me every time($100 today, $200 next week, etc). I am trying to figure out the best way to collect all the necessary payments with me having to reach out or receive these individual calls every time someone wants to make a payment. I have a full time job and travel advising is my side hustle, but I do love it and eventually want to do this full time in the future. Does Travel Joy provide a link for the individual client to pay me, then I pay the cruise line? Im so confused!! Please help!!! Thank you!

Hi, congrats on the big booking. You can build a group booking page, and clients can book the trip and using group funds with direct pay, you can charge their card and hold the funds inside TJ. Then you have to manually pay the supplier each time. Tj doesn't pay the supplier directly. Once you have the invoice set up, it will send a reminder based on the schedule. You should not be collecting funds into your account.

No, i have not seen a way to make sure the CC section is filled out. When i get it left blank, I reply letting them know that i can't move forward until it is.

Hi thanks for this... I was a little confused about invoicing for research fees. Are you saying we have to send the invoice for the research whether we embed it in our site or send it as a link? Either way there's no way for them to just pay it when they get the trip request?

I have the trip request on my form. you can embed the form to the website if you have one You can also just embed an invoice form on your website for them to fill out and once received and processed, you can send the trip request form. If you are doing direct pay yes, and invoice is needed. if not, then you can use a CC Auth form.
