Ill buy one when someone figures out how to make a telescopic chimney, i hate the look of those roll your own chimneys, i mean if you can make a telescopic fishing rod, or a radio aerial, an umbrella, etc etc

Do you get alot of cold air coming in from the gaps under the tent? How about snow and rain getting in? Isnt there a way to secure it closer to the ground?

I just bought this tent on offer here in UK. There is a PRO version which has snow flaps, but they were sold out. The new UK agent is called valley & peak.

Just a word of advice here: check the Better Business Bureau before purchasing Luxe gear from Luxe Hiking Gear USA. I and many, many others have been scammed out of our money by this distributor. I don't want this happening to another person.

Great outing, and the bacon-wrapped steak looked delicious 👍That forest looks amazing as well... Like something out of a painting, all straight and tall with little to no undergrowth, while I'm trudging through briars and poison ivy to get through trees that look like a crowd of grumpy old men who pulled their backs out 🤣

Dudes, in my home country (USA,) the two of you would certainly qualify as "Good Ol' boys." Perfect camp out, cooking real food on an open campfire and brewing coffee. I have never been in a location to try reindeer meat but it looks to be a lean and healthy source of protein. Beautiful Bride has a friend that sourced great breakfast food for us. Beef Tapa is super popular here in our area. Surprise, apparently there must be a deer farm somewhere nearby because we have been consuming venison tapa several times a month as a breakfast treat. Watching from our "secret retirement" location on Luzon island, Bulacan province in the Republic of the Philippine islands. Now, it is time to hit the subscribe button.

Thank you, both for subscription and a good comment. Reindeer is one of the healthiest sources of meat we have here. It's very lean and they eat only what they can find in the nature (as long as they are wild) - So it not only taste good, but its good for the environment too!

The clear winner as a fire extender for our young troops is wax-impregnated cotton pads. All the advantages you listed and totally FREE for us. I could be guilty of being thrifty. I recycle all of the pads used for manicure sessions by Beautiful Bride and Beautiful Daughter. Bits and pieces of used-up candles are melted in the double boiler. We manufacture dozens of these firestarters at a whack. Tip, the round pads fit nicely in repurposed "Pringles-type" fake potato chip can. Square pads pack nicely in our rectangular camp pots.
