Good news people I found my gun put it apart clean oil made my own magazine loader I don’t use pellgun oil I use W20 non detergent oil can’t find Balistol anywhere in Fokken Canada.gun is butter smooth.Yes I did paint front blade but I put whole magazine into quarter hole and you can strip it in 5 seconds,I got no beef with the gun price is reasonable $150 CDN Canadian pesos plus tax you can’t escape it.Yea I recommend this gun plus you have fun switch 😂😂😂❤❤❤ todelooo

Find a video that actually shows everything. This is a lot more straightforward than I thought it was from watching the other videos that didn’t really tell you a whole lot. This helped me make an informed decision to order this.

I’d like to get one .. but here in the UK they’re expensive (£50 and on “pre-order”)…. The Umarex DX17 which I have only costs £25 all year round… if I see this at a lower price I would like to get one… as I would like to get all of the “Carnival” class shooters for a little personal collection…. including this Crosman, The G1018, my Umarex and the Daisy 340 and any others that you can recommend….

Hello again John… I am still waiting for my pistol to be delivered (UK gun laws🙄)…. I’ve seen a video of a guy with one of these and he did a test to see if it would last for three thousand shots without breaking (competitors brands all fell by the wayside) his DX17 is still going strong and he’d already fired a few hundred shots before starting in the two bottles of 1500 BB’s…. he did get the loading rail stuck…. but he managed to unstick it…. (This is apparently common and people often say … oh it’s broken)…. What he did was get some gun oil and oil the trigger mechanism with the pistol upside down. He also demonstrated how to oil the trigger sear whilst cocked (safety on)…. and also how to oil the piston and the rest of the pistol (the oil migrates from the piston into other parts when it’s used regularly)….whilst cocked…. he was using an oil i’m not familiar with….. however…. I learned only to use silicone oil on airguns (and I learned the hard way as a kid…. used my dads wd40 and ruined the seals in my little Gat gun)…. Anyway …. there is a point to me talking about this (I’ve also seen your excellent tear down video on the DX17)…. What would be great to see would be a video of you showing people like myself (someone who likes to look after things through proper maintenance)….. How to properly oil, tighten and adjust(if necessary) the DX17 as a standard maintenance video… say for every three hundred or five hundred shots… would you be able to do one for us with your expertise (the guy I watched used a needle nose for his oil bottle? As I say, really found your tear down video interesting to watch…. but it’s something I would never dare to do… so I’d like to know properly how to maintain mine with silicone oil and see in depth whereabouts are likely to need it the most…. I know these pistols are really budget end price wise… but they are still very well made products and deserve to be looked after so that we can enjoy use out of them for as many years as possible… I’m certainly not dexterous enough to attempt a tear down hand feel that prevention would potentially be the cure…. by proper maintenance… if we were fishermen I would say “tight lines”… but because we’re airgunners…. I’ll say “safety on!”…..

Hey John… I meant to ask you…..In the USA….. does the .22 calibre come as smoothbore… because, I think in the UK that’s how they come…!yet I seem to remember the .177 having a rifled barrel??

this is essentially the carbine version of my B2…. to adjust the windage you have to manually drift the hooded foresight with a hammer and punch… once I got mine adjusted it is highly accurate… although i’m going to fit a small scope…. it’s always good to have the iron sights accurate in case of emergency…. I read somewhere that this is an exact copy of the Diana model 35 …. you can still pick these up in the UK and they retail at £60 making them an affordable rifle for people on a low budget… i’m all for it and absolutely love mine….
@Williamthehedonist10 күн бұрын
I fancy one of these… your review has made me feel this way…. i’ve got the B2 break barrel…. in .177 it’s a very good rifle… my friend chronographed it at 9.4 ftlbs so ok for close range hunting… but i’m a target shooter… do you know what the muzzle energy is on the B3 John?

I think if I were to go with a co2 pistol… this would be the one…. but…. if i could afford it I would opt for the .177 Silhouette version with micro adjustable sights… that one looks very special!!!

If you take the CO2 cartridge out when it's not all the way spent if you've only taken a couple shots. Will you be able to put the same CO2 cartridge back in add finish using the rest of it thanks in advance if anybody knows😊

@j.p.792313 күн бұрын
Honestly I don’t get why people are confused about that, I mean a cartridge won’t do more than 40-60 shots, it’s not a lot. Use your gun and remove the cartridge, as simple as that.

Another excellent video… I like the fact that these are smoothbore and able to safely fire darts, as, i have an umarex dartboard!! … i’m getting one in the UK for £25 I don’t know how they do it for such a good price… I’m becoming brand loyal to Umarex, because, they offer decent products to people who otherwise might not have the budget…. i’m also thinking of getting a strike point at a later date!

Greetings John, as I said in the Marksman G10 tear down comments; i’m really enjoying your channel. Later this week I am purchasing either, the G1018….. or the Umarex DX17….. they’re currently a very similar price due to black Friday offers…. in your opinion would you say they’re both good …. or is one better than the other??…. many thanks
@Williamthehedonist16 күн бұрын
Really enjoying your channel… this was interesting… but… i’m not gifted enough to do this kind of work… i’ve seen people do similar things and customise the piston to and spring to give more power… … i always try to maintain my pistols and rifles… but if any work is needed then get help.

I was wondering with your knowledge if you could help me find an air rifle from my childhood I can’t find it anywhere. Any idea on a pump addition shot gun silver shot with the pump I’m sure it was a .177 cal never been able to find it. Any info on one that you might know of would be great like just like a shot gun. Not the Daisy model 25 it looked like a regular shotgun. Almost like the new Winchester model 12. This would be around the 90’s

I have the newer version( bought like two years ago) and Was wondering if you could do a disassembly on that? Theres a little bent piece of metal in front of the hammer and its blocking my firing pin. I believe its to pull the hammer back in once it advances a chamber, but i cant for the life of me figure out where it goes.
