My dad used to work there as well back in the seventies and all of the eighties under Frank Mayo back when it was Mayo Chemical Company and Pat was the secretary/receptionist/accountant. His name is David Watson. James David Watson but goes by David. He worked from all kinds of shifts, full time and overtime. They had the coke machine put out the drinks in glass bottles (green I think) and we would give them bottles back to recycle. I remember my mom bringing him lunch every day and my siblings and I would watch him walk back and forth on the main bridge going back and forth between tanks. He made soap powders, etc and we would get free soap powder in this huge brown barrel to bring home every week. The Mayo family and Pat were at one time wonderful people who treated our family with much love and compassion then greed took over and eventually the name changed too. I miss the old times and memories but will never forget.
