Can you imagine how good Stevie Ray Vaughan was if he had Eric Clapton playing the piano? 😂

Sweat corrodes strings no matter how high the quality. If you play-out a lot and spend a lot of time on the road, (like they did), make sure you change your strings every now-and-then. All hat being said; SRV broke the !@#$ out of strings because he simply abused the !@#$ out of No.1 but it really isn't a big deal when you know your music theory because you just move everything up/down a position and keep on playing. My favorite show that SRV did was the "El Mocambo". He was still drinking and Reece hadn't joined the band yet. The second I saw SRV open the show with, "Testify", I was hooked.

Well, srv is fantastic, but just notice the gutar tech here - how many can do this on the run in a solo this effordlessly. I think the tech is as much at praise as srv.

Kilboy- I’m right with Ozzy right here. He sure knew how to pick lead guitar players. ( somebody must’ve tipped him off). My expression/emotions, the same as Ozzy right here 🔌🎛🎧🤘🏻

Not my first time watching it but as a guitar player myself I can only admire SRV even more that guitar swap was so subtle that it almost makes me want to believe that it was staged. Too bad I was born too late to go to his shows :/
