But if the economy really is booming in France, why are the wages so much lower than say, Ireland? I'd like to get away from the constant wet weather and perhaps move to France. But having been there many times and even now in Dec'24, I know well that the cost of food and drinks and supermarkets are actually higher than in Irl. for the most part. As for living the high life in tge Cote D'azur, most ordinary folks certainly cannot afford it. And who wants to rub shoulders with the soul less anyway!
