No judgment at all! That's a great idea! And, after I pulled them out, I used my hand (with a glove on) and cleared the paint off the top of the water by sticking it to the sides of the bin. 🙏🏼🤗

@chickie5249 My appliques do not fall off or yellow. I still have them and they look as beautiful as they did when I first made them. 🙏🏼🤗 Elements?? These aren't made to put outside. If you want to do that, seal them with resin.

They are, but they tend to chip if you don't seal them with an acrylic spray sealer. So they should be sealed before using them.

You can do it either way. I suggest one section at a time for beginners. 🙏🏼🙂

How many times can dry

I figured it out at the end. I was using way too much paint. Lol and I don't ever sand my bottles, but you can if you'd like.

I poured the paint immediately after placing the white base without letting it dry. Doing this helps the paint spread evenly. 🤗🙏🏼

I've never tried it, but the idea for this technique is to use paint that doesn't dry out quickly.

As soon as I take it out of the water I place it on a cinderblock and leave them outside to dry over night.

If you want to make this project simpler, here are some tips. 1.) Don't use color, just the white base. It gets tricky when adding the color. 2.) If you use color, paint the vase fully with the desired color first instead of following this video and use my updated paper napkin appliques to decoupage over the color.
