it ceases to amaze me that people will gladly call those who strongly oppose communism as 'right wing', but they just cant admit that means communism is in fact left wing. just like national socialism was left wing (yet for some odd reason people call right wing people nazi's). history is filled with the horrors of leftism, but acknowledging that truth means a LOT of modern leftists need to admit theyre just trying to reanimate a monster which is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions

The most amusing thing about the scene where describes why he got into politics is that it's framed in romantic terms despite the fact that he essentially said he got into politics because he was good at manipulating a disadvantaged demographic into voting for him in order to get revenge on a guy he didn't like.
