We had it down to the bells going down 1 minute to be out .thet give me 4 minutes to be on seen . Love my job now retired. I would love to ride a pump be for I die

My stepson worked that watch and was Mr April on their calendar. A couple of those lads did a hell of a good job decorating my hall, stairs and landing for me after I retired. Good decorators too. 😀. Great seeing this. Was watching this episode as a teenager in the 90's. Now 15 yrs in the LFB. Remember thinking the watch and guv & SUB O sounds sound as a pound. And now I'm a new junior officer can testify this.

Unless the guy on the left hand pole of the 135 ladder has four hands then it was a straightforward 4 man pitch. Done is a three man and even a two man (heel into building, poles outstretched) on the yard but never on a job.
