The price is for 1 summer of work and travel. If you plan to go more than once, then you have to sign up all and pay for everything all over again.

I’m not sure what you mean but you have to complete at least 1 year of college before you can go on work and travel.

If you do one year of sixth form or no sixth form at all, you have to do prelim. You can transfer from prelim if your grades are competitive and also if you can afford to pay the fees. The main reason some students don’t transfer is because they cannot afford the medical school fees.

Same price as a full year of University at UWI. The preliminary year would make your degree a 4 year degree instead of a 3 year degree at UWI.

Chemistry is the hardest CXC subject and it's not even close... Like it literally requires you to use all 5 sense organs plus common sense and critical thinking😒 I'm curious to know what year you did CXC because you seem to be abnormal to get higher grades in Chemistry compared to Maths and Physics, it just doesn't add up. Lemme know A.S.A.P

@@jdjzr9343 I sat both paper 1 and paper 2 for 9 of my 11 subjects. 2020 was the only year with only paper 1. I did only paper 1 for English Language and Social Studies because I did those in 2020. I only did June sittings between grade 10 and grade 11.

Usually from your teacher and/or from Google. You can Google sba samples and get them checked and approved by your teacher to use as a guide. Also some teachers on KZbin have sba samples.

Where are labs written after the labs are carried out ?

The results are written up in pen during the lab and checked by the demonstrators and lab technicians. If it is a short lab, it is due same day. But otherwise it would be due the next day at the specific time that the lecturer says. It's not like high school. You won't be using a lab book and the labs are written up somewhat differently and the questions are asked a bit differently.

Hi, i am currently considering completing my final year in sixth form and is considering applying for uwi faculty of Science and technology and just wanted to know if it is possible to transfer from uwi faculty of Humanities &Ed to Sci& tech.

Humanities and Science and Technology are two different faculties. You will need to meet the science requirements to go to Sci tech. I think you should email admissions about whether or not you meet the academic requirements for sci tech.

When you register for the preliminary courses, the resources will be placed on the platform, and from the course outline you can also do your independent learning/studying. Also Whatsapp groups will be formed and the older students will give their 2 cents on certain things relating to the course.

What are the preliminary courses for a major in Marine Biology? Do you do electives your preliminary year?

There are only 4 prelim courses at Sci tech: math, physics, biology and chemistry. Prelim bio would be mandatory and the rest you mix and match. You can do electives if you meet the prerequisites and some courses have no prerequisites so it would work out.
