My son was bullied at school growing up. Which was very degrading for him

Honestly I tried it many times over the years and it doesn't work. The only things that worked with bullies in my adult life is showing them you are not a doormat and that you have some power too. The problem is sometimes we end up being bullied several times by the same person, maybe for months if not longer, before we come up with a trick for that bully. You've got to come up with something better for kids to have as a tool. I teach my children to go silent, to not answer back and allow the conversation (the argument really) to die off. Then our body language can be firm and fierce as opposed to submissive and defeated. These two combined work with some smaller bullies.

Never bully anyone. A kid at my school killed themselves because they were bullied and were told to kill themselves and they did.

Some bullies will harras and provoke and pic and pick and pick to get you the target to punch the jerk in the face. Well that's not what anyone wants to do they didn't want this but with some people they are relentless in attacking you. On stage here islts all a stage of fun ,but in the real world it nit fun and games like and act on the stage. It actually depends on the situation and your mood yes you could ne the happiest person. Then Mr.and Mrs Crab Mentality comes along and take turns at screwing with you all for the fun of destroying your good nature your happy person you.. these same people would never attack whom? Someone who thry know that would punch them in the face black eyes broken nose broken teeth. No these losers would never bully such a person, they select certain types of people they know who they are and get big thrills at screwing with them emotionally for nothing just to trip them just for s laugh. I asked Google what types of people get harassed? Had quite and interesting answer it did. Google has quite a lit of excellent information even on how such creeps target you and why. Check it out

ive been bullied for years on end like physical violence but teachers dont care like they just say "stop" that doesnt do shit the only way to stop them is to fight back and if they a big 'fat' u cant because they are so big that they can just crush you and the principle also just says 'stop'

You can tell she has experience doing this. Girls who develop breasts in high school often bully others.

Can't confirming their negative talk, such as, "You're right, I am an idiot," cause damage to yourself. It is repeating the negative self-talk we are told to avoid.because it is psychologically damaging.

With all due respect doctor, I don't think choking down injured feelings is the answer because it leads to a bottle neck of big feelings. After all this IS what happened. You're lumping together too many individual issues, generalizing. There 8s a point when it is PERCEIVED as severe and, although, you do give a some good coping tools, the status quo says perceptions will vary, and those are the boiling pots that must have a way to feel safe, and I don't see why call the police is frowned upon. Why didn't the teacher spot this volcano?

EVERYTHING DESERVE BALANCE. YOU BE NICE ETC. BUT, WHEN IT COMES TO BEING PHYSICAL? WHOOP THEY A**! ALSO, LEARN HOW TO DEFEND YOURSELVES. WITH & WITHOUT WEAPONS. IT HAS HELPED ME IN SCHOOL & IN ADULT LIFE. YOU DON'T GO TO THE EXTREME. BY BECOMING A BULLY. BUT, ALWAYS DEFEND YOURSELF! LEARN PSYCHOLOGY AS WELL FOR PROPAGANDA & DARK PSYCHOLOGY BULLYING. YOU'RE WELCOME!😊💯🤐🌎🧿💜

The worse advice, this video is glorifying the skilled bully. So many people watched it cause the girl is skilled in being mean and cruel - a role model for the bullies. No help whatsoever, show it to your broken bullied child that lost her/his youth by hiding and crying in the bathroom every day for the past 3 years and they will get absolutely nothing from it except more trauma.

This video was actually made with that suffering student in mind. Dominance behavior is a psychological effort to evoke negative emotions out of it's target. Once you empower a student with the emotional resilience needed to remain unfazed by these provocations, the suffering child suffers no more. They are empowered. Emotional pain is subjective. The same mean person can do the same mean things to another kid, and that kid is indifferent (doesn't care). However, to an emotionally sensitive kid, the mean words or actions can devastate them. That's why the best solution to help someone who deals with non-criminal aggressive behavior is to build up their emotional resilience. Help them be confident in who they are and how they are. Once they stop living for the approval of others, their life improves.

Hi! I've come across your video about how to stop a bully because I was looking for input and information from various sources about this topic in order to find common strategies. I want to help people and students to be able to help themselves as I agree with you that that's better than trying to solve the issue(s) for them (depending on the age of course). I work in nothing replated to this topic, but have always been very interested in this and always wanted to help but never know where to start. Thank you so much for what you're doing. I can see from the comments that you've helped so many people and probably more. You're (work) is greatly appreciated 🙏

I would fall short…. But the requirements are the same for a man: The Braid of Faith - Word (Daily devotions) - Prayer (Dependent on God) - Accountability (Under authority) The Braid of Character - Parental Nature (Fatherly) - Optimistic Mindset (Seeing the good) - Fear of God (Governed behavior) The Braid of Attraction - Physical (Looking good) - Spiritual (Christ in common) - Relational (Friends)

Yeah, that's not always the case. Some of them don't stop and if you don't do anything then they feel like they could do more and intrude in your life further. That is the problem and I don't think you can answer that. Not even a cop could answer that.

I have been bullied almost all my life, by a narcissistic mum, and also, co workers, I was to afraid to admit it till now that I the courage to say that I am in a better place mentally and spiritually. I’m still working on standing uo for my self, cause, All my life I felt like I didn’t had a voice till now. You can speak up, your voice has power.

Just sharing my thoughts even my grammar is not correct, in bullying it required more times who is better and less sometimes even though being victimized is not neccessary some people accept it immediately without recognizing it
