Would like to know your perspective on this - say this friend(of the opp sex) of yours stopped talking to you because of the partner, now that the partner has left that friend, and when the friend comes back to you, how do you react to it?

There could be a possibility that they were seeing you as an option, Thus, maybe you gotta clear the air with that person about what his or her stance actually is. But as always, be cautious with situations like these if such relationships are subject to easy turmoil But then again, this is our opinion, and we are not experts
