The real locals hate all that poldark rubbish, they shut down the high street and what did we get out of it? A rubbish remake of a 70s classic.

We ask governments in all countries to unite the bridge pillars as high as one or two meters so that if a car hits a bridge support, it can still slide not as badly as a car crashes into a bridge pillar so that an accident hitting a pillar like what happened to Princess Diana does not happen again,

The video is fine, but the MUSIC is really annoying. Had to turn the sound right down watching this.

Sorry that you were so annoyed Prue but my editing facility is primitive and the laptop is held together with sticky tape.

The brewers arms was always known as the Langley tap that’s how it should have been left. I used to sell rabbits there on a sat morning that me and my mate had caught with ferrets, you’d have bloody loved it. It was straight out of cider with Rosie.

The Kings Arms, I remember seeing them serving occupants of a rowing boat out of the window, for the cameras of course! Nowadays they won't let you do that.

Greetings! This maybe be a shot in the dark but here we go...recently started research on my family tree and have made it all the way to Thomas Hanks. May have once been spelled Hancks, Hankes way back when. Thomas was listed as born in Malmesbury, England around 1625. Migrated to the Virginia colony now USA around 1640 and one of his descendants eventually ended up here in south Louisiana US. This is now where I reside. Just curious if anyone watching this would know if there are still any "Hanks" descendants still in the Malmesbury area. Planning on make a trip there one day to explore my roots....Very Best Regards Dustin Hanks

I think there was John about 1540. There was Thomas I, II, and III.

Merci Didier, A metal padlock is a heavy object and the total weight of all those padlocks on a single bridge will reach a point above the safe weight level for the structure which can only cause structural failure. It could be that the failure rate will be reached when there are additional tourists on the bridges in the summer. I think that you should inform the mayor to engage an engineer and mathematician to make some calculations on weight limits. Collapse of part of the structure into the Seine would be tragic. You can send the URL of this video to the Mayor if you wish.

Merci Didier, Perhaps they will remove the locks and let people start again. Because Paris is a city of art and creativity they will find a use for the padlocks if they have to remove them. A competition to find the best idea should be suggested to the Mayor.

Maintenant en mars 2014 il y a au moins 15 cm d epaisseur de cadenas sur les grilles et celles ci ne sont plus vidées. Peut etre la municipalite attend q un accident se produise pour interdire la pose de cadenas.

I compose all my tracks from the Magix music maker software. It prevents you getting posts from youtube about copyright. The beauty of using Magix software is that you can compose to suit the mood of your film.

Yes, I'd say that was the flood of the immediate post-Christmas period, 1978. I lived in Sycamore Terrace and it came into the kitchen, stayed 24 hours, then drained away. It had rained for most of a 96-hour period, then turned to snow late on... Boxing Day, I seem to remember. Seemed more exciting than threatening at the time, but we were young....

The english always come away with this nonsense because they themselves have nothing that's unique to their nation, so they try and take the rest of the Nations Down to their level. You are fooling no one so try and get a grip of yourselves. You will be telling us next that reggae is traditionl to england you really are like the rest of your ilk Deluded.

They wait here for the band to arrive then parade through the City. Much of the week is taken over with balls, music and re-enactments of the period. It is not just for the residents of the City and many tourists come from all over the world to dress up and take part in celebration of Jane Austen. Read some of her writing in appreciation.
