Having seen Itchy Boots and her youtuvbe channel going to see the stinking seals at Cape cross thought Id use a spare day in Swakopmund to also go to Cape Cross. Drive past a German town where literally all German nationals live then onto Cape Cross. Its deserted and literally people and pretty much car free. Couple times needed to stop and just breathe as it was so empty. Got to Cape Cross and spent while with the stinking seals...Drive back easier. I half wanted to drive further laong the coast but was solo driving . Nick is a braver man than me. Having said that Im back in Swakomund in January so maybe maybe

haha, the drive up to Torra Bay is straight forward. Only in the rainy season might there be some issues with rivers coming down. And there will always people to assist if you run into trouble. Go for it when you are back in Jan💪

Best overland video channel I've come across, we are busy planning our Nam trip and all our 'notes' is from your video, like you say, all the other channels just aim to 'gain sponsors' and normal people cant afford any of the gear or vehicles they claim you 'need'. Sad that you feel its a failure, maybe not 54 countries but luckily you started in the South so happy that you covered the areas we can reach from SA! thanks for your videos, certainly very far from a failure, something to be very very proud of Nic!

Good to see you back and making vids Mr 5210. Last two times in Etosha I was suprised by how few animal sightings there were and even more the road conditions. Returned to my air bnb in Otjiwarango to find I had a slow puncture and also a cracked rim. Im currently in planning stages for a Namibia trip in late Jan but might just give Etosha a miss this time.

Great video! We visited Etosha in May 2023. The roads were horrific: not sinkplaat, but stones and rocks in the majority of the roads. Even 4x4 boffins complained. To my mind the management should ask the CHINESE to improve the situation...))))))

Very nice video, thank you for sharing. Patience - that is the most important thing in Etosha, then you will often be rewarded. I have heard and seen in many documentaries how elephants mourn. I love these animals, they are so magnificent. Whenever they lose a member of their herd and would even offer condolences on the bones, it almost brings tears to my eyes, I am so moved. And YOU were allowed to be there when this elephant went to his dead companion at the Aus waterhole. What a privilege. I am happy for you that you were able to see something like that live. Thank you Hen. I mispoke in the video. I knew this is what they do, but Ive never been able to see it. In the video I showed a few minutes.
