We've come a long way. Falcons used to be thrown whilst on horseback. Horses helped close the distance and now it's nice to see cars being used in the modern era.

I'm curious: How badly can your kestrel hurt a non-target bird before you reach her? I see you don't need a glove with this tiny falcon, but its feet are still weapons. I'm curious how much pressure they can exert with their talons.

It's a surprising amount, but I've held onto a good number of live starlings she's cought for baiting traps. They've always been fine.

you don't need a glove for a bird this small, but it's still recommended as Bird's feet don't grip very well on human skin or normal clothing
