International scholarships for master’s programs are available only for the following majors: Applied Statistics, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Business Studies, Environmental Science, and Life Sciences. Scholarships are NOT available for master’s programs in other majors. So you can apply for Direct-Entry PhD program.

It depends on the availability of postal orders at the post office. If a single postal order worth Rs. 200 is available, you can get that. Otherwise, you can opt for two postal orders worth Rs. 100 each or four postal orders worth Rs. 50 each. The total must add up to Rs. 200. Yes, I am studying at KFUPM, doing my master’s in Geotechnical Engineering. We have a lot of female students from various countries here. And I think most of the digital content they create is on Instagram or TikTok 📸 . You’ll find plenty of it there!

I had a CGPA of 3.54/4.0 but got rejected. I haven't submitted IELTS score as I haven't appeared for the IELTS exam. Someone told me that we have the flexibility to submit IELTS score by the end of first semester. Is it true? Also I had applied for Direct PhD which is competent considering masters students normally have higher GPAs than bachelor's. What should I do now. Apply without IELTS for Masters program with a 3.54/4.0 CGPA as I have been rejected from Direct PhD with the same profile.

Previously, there was flexibility allowing admission to KFUPM with the option to submit a valid English test score (IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo) within the first semester of studies. This policy was applicable only for admissions up to the January 2025 session. Starting from the August 2025 semester, applicants for MS/Regular or Direct Ph.D. programs are required to submit a valid IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo score at the time of application. Without one of these scores, you cannot submit the application. Whether you are applying for an MS or a direct Ph.D., you will need one of the above scores.

Hi, I have applied to CPG, Petroleum Engineering at KFUPM for Spring (Jan) semester 2025. I also did my interview on Sept 19th. But upto now (Nov 6th) there is no decision on my application as my status is still "Under Review". Should I go ahead and apply again for Fall semester 2025? To be eligible for the scholarship, at least a GPA of 3 on a 4.0 scale is required, according to the official website. Unfortunately, this means you are not eligible for the fully funded scholarship.

Hello. KFUPM also accepts female applicants. One of the minimum requirements is a 3.0/4.0 GPA. Since you have a 3.1, you are eligible. Consider applying for the August 2025 session. Best of luck!

There are two intakes: the January session and the August session. Admissions for January 2025 are closed, and those who have applied for the January session should expect results by mid-October (± 5 days). The admission link for the August 2025 session will open in November/December 2024.

No, it will not affect the application. You will receive a visa if you get accepted, and then you will need to complete your visa process in the city you mentioned (possibly Mumbai). Good luck..
