@@chadhagene7665 Sounds really good! I just picked up the POD Express, and I'm really enjoying it too! Since there is no tone library or online tone repository like Custom Tone for their other products, I think there will be a lot of people looking up how to dial in some good tones. Do some videos on settings! I think you'll get views! (Start off videos with your great playing and subscribers will come your way!) I'm a content creator too (astronomy/astrophotography- would appreciate the sub), as well as a guitarist. I'll be looking to add non-licensed music to my videos once monetized, if you have any interest in collaborations... Thanks! -Chris

@chadhagene76656 ай бұрын
Thank you! Its pretty loud on 5 watts. All the gain comes from cranking up the volume so I would think in a band setting it might be tough to get the volume/tone right without adding pedals.
@Carson_BerryАй бұрын
Def not lol. If you're trying to clash with in house drums, caged or not, I'd say you'd want at least 15watts, and it'd better be a LOUD 15watts with a cab to match lol
@Joey_McElroy8 күн бұрын
Yup it’s definitely loud enough especially if you mic it. Absolutely crank it and then clean it up using your volume knob on the guitar. Matter of fact there is an old video of Joe Bonamassa playing a gig with a full band in a small dive bar and he is absolutely ripping, the amp is keeping up with drums and bass and other guitars no problems. Sounds great too! I love mine, I’ve gigged it out plenty of times. Both mic’d and in mic’d. get one!!

I've tried my friends Origin 50 combo, and I own a DSL20 combo and Class 5 combo and would say the Class 5 gets closest to old school marshall tone but has to be cranked (I use an attenuator), and I used the speaker out to a 12inch celestion greenback, the stock 10inch speaker was a bit dark for me. The DSL is more versatile and goes from cleans to high gain. The origin just sounded a bit dull to me, I think it's meant to be more of a pedal platform but even then I wasn't very impressed
