If you run the loop through the loop or the end of the line through the loop it makes no difference. Both make a perfect square knot. The issue is how you tighten the knot. Both methods can be tightened incorrectly creating a girth hitch which is a cutting knot.

Why on earth would you have a man describing how waders for a woman should fit around hips and busts? Does Patagonia not employ any women who can shoot these videos?

I owned a Swift mark1 made in England . It was a stunningly beautiful reel . But I have also owned a Uniqua , and both a Demon Cassette and Ultralight ASR cassette reel . All those reels are Korean made , but beautiful and functional .

how would this hoody work as a base layer do you think in colder weather? Compared to a patagonia capilene 1 lightweight base layer for example

How not to do a review: Talk about asses, don't discuss the material used in construction, don't talk about available sizes, don't mention the price or how it fits and the models' weight/height. This literally tells people nothing interesting or relevant. And neglect to fix that wonky mono audio thing.

Does this hoody fit true to size? If you normally wear a Large, should you wear an XL? It looks like a size up would be more appropriate. Thanks

probably not the best suggestion, but maybe poke a hole in the bottom of the pockets? A built in drain would be a great idea for their next version.

This knot isn't just great for fly fishing it is probably the best knot for nylon and especially fluorocarbon lines. Forget all those fancy complicated line-wasting fluoro knots - the Davy knot is the best. Note: If your hook is a bit on the large size for your line diameter then just add another turn on the final stage of the knot before tightening.

Carp are a non-native, invasive species. They cause turbidity to rise and eat the spawn of native species. Please injure them mortally.
@guillermoochoa7345
@guillermoochoa7345 7 жыл бұрын
tolpacourt comments like this never fail, yes I agree with the part of that Carp are not Native but so is the white man to this continent and he has done more damage to the environment of this continent than this fish ever will! And at the end of the day it was the white Man who brought this fish to begin with. So to hell with that non Native argument and on the second thing you said about turbidity and that they eat the spawn of native species, first of all turbidity can be caused my many things be it wind, current, boat activity and yes fish, Carp being one of them but also suckers, catfish and so on. It's also affected by the composition of the substrate aka bottom of lake or river. 2nd almost all fish eat fish eggs at one point or another of their lives.. Trout, Bass, Sunfish, Catfish, Eels, Walleye, Muskie, Pike, Sturgeon, Minnows and Darters are no exception so that argument gets thrown out the door too. I'm not saying Common Carp aren't a problem in some parts but those are few and far between. There's a lot of myths, misinformation and negativity about these wonderful hard fighting fish, I'm talking Common Carp here (like the one in this video that although it's a Mirror Carp it's still a Common Carp at the end of the day) not the other Asian Carp mind you. Now on the Invasive part, Common Carp have been here for over 200yrs and have become part of the environment like it or not, in other words they've become Naturalized! Other fish feed on them when young so they've become part of the food chain. Education is the key to better understand things that surround us so we can stop ourselves from making inadequate arguments. ✌️

Nope, pure stupidity you've commented here. In most areas carp are NOT invasive. It varies by region. Also, the major issues with invasive carp are mostly not with common carp. They are with silver and bighead carp in the midwest. Please do even a minute of research before spreading this nonsense.
