So good that you tried the Murray Ave places; I lived there and was underwhelmed. Walked past to go to what is now Capezzuto's. They are supposed to continue the tradition. Backstory: I get Italy is where pizza originated, but NYC is where it was defined in the US. I lived in NYC (city, not bridges and tunnels). I've also tried all but Benny's in your video. We do sausage and mushroom; YMMV. GOOD, but: - Fazio's is my Son's fave, and it has cred with me. NYC-style pie. - Pizza Italia is my fave. Real NYC-style pie. - Vincent's Pizza Park is weird... weirdly wonderful. My fave pizza ANYWHERE, but it is different. Vinnie pie... Lelulo's is a new fave; they do something with their mushrooms that is awesome.
