Im Catholic and You really misrepresent the truth here. Private points of view are something different than doctrines. Even pope can have private statements that we dont consider the 'absolute truth' but certainly a private opinion. And this is a human experience, having freedom to have a private opinions, even if its wrong. Only when pope speaks ex cathedra - its considered 'absolute truth' and even then it have to have all 4 crucial elements to be considered as ex cathedra teaching.

Pastor Lawson thanks for explaining why you say that someone that claims to be a Christian living wickedly may not be saved, and doing so with scripture. I guess that's another passage I'll be asking the Holy Spirit to give light on. Here's the other side of that. Had the wife of a pastor of a church of 600 and a bible school ask me to go to Alabama to help a preacher that was having a rough time. While I'm there i find out this pastor starts drinking at 9-10 o'clock...am. he smokes pot late at night. He tells me he has 3 women he's sleeping with there in Prattville and 3 in Pensacola, one of them is married. I believe he's saved. There was evidence, however, every time i went to the refrigerator in the church, my eyes landed on some words on a bottle of cooler cleaner that kills bacteria ect. Don't remember exactly what the words were but i felt like the Lord was telling me that he was gonna kill him. It was more than a feeling.
