Chur bro do you have a name for that under roll you were using . Ive been using it for 18 years and have never had a proper name for it .

Lol sorry I'm in the same boat , for the purpose of posting it I had to slap a name on it. Stop Drop & Roll..

@@chokeabro ive been trying to find the Japaneese name for it . But think its souly a wrestaling technique . I know back in the WwF WWe they call it a tight package . Stop drop and rolls pretty cool !

I'll keep looking, it's a fun move I try to hit it from a single leg.

Awesome I will give it a go

I wouldn’t belly down. That is where you get crushed. If you get that octopus grip the best option is to get your knee, that is closest to the opponent, in to the crotch for a sort of half butterfly, then take your far leg and get half guard, get a lockdown, then all you need to do is hip switch the opposite way and you can escape out to the back with a truck in place.

Bro, he can just step over your hips into a full mount at any point
@chrisquackarmbarsАй бұрын
From the kesa type hip positions, he has to shift his hips back to neutral, giving time to lift your knee to block- is my guesss
@markoniksic3630Ай бұрын
@@chrisquackarmbars No chance, specially when he does the arm drag he just exposes his entire back. The dude on top just needs to sit down

@@kennedypuckettmusic2067 but stiff arming at the elbow is not ineffective. It's actually extremely effective... just ask Marcello Garcia.

Great details! I've definitely had the problem where they get their elbow to the mat if I try to jump straight to kesa without enough prior control. Looking forward to giving this a try.
