Day time kinda, night time it’s hit or miss depending on light around the car from what I’ve been able to tell

Honestly it’s not bad, i can adjust the dampening so it’s pretty stiff. I feel it’s slightly stiffer than stock.

@ honestly it’s pretty good, the only issue i have is once you set the psi it locks the controller so if it was losing psi it won’t keep pumping to keep it at the target after it locks. Not sure if there is a way around that or not. Had a bag blow due to my install error and had to keep pumping it manually with the controller until i got safely off the road. Other units will continue to do it automatically.

When installing a secondary battery your second battery should be the exact same as your main battery when running them in this configuration otherwise you should consider using an isolator when running mix matched batteries so that one doesn’t drain the other

I know, I just didn’t have a battery tender and didn’t want to let the secondary one laying around, plus at the time I had a audio system installed so I was using it mainly for that.

The fans werent on for that run when parked the water temp was 276 F Thank god its a JZ No other motor would be totally fine after that

What is the difference from running the 2nd batt off the main battery vs. running the 2nd batt straight from the alt?

I’d say running from the first battery to the 2nd it would need to go through the first one first, which I’d say isn’t super great for the primary one. That’s the only thing i can really think of

Stock battery is still being charged by the alt, i just ran a new wire from the alt to this battery

By connecting at the alternator both battery positives are essentially connected together already, the extra red power wire is kinda redundant. Would be simpler and cleaner eliminating the red wire.
