Esta canción la quería tocar con la chica quién creí que era mi "alma gemela", era mi maestra de piano, tuvimos algo, besos, planes de futuras citas, reíamos juntos, pero repentinamente se empezó a comportar muy indiferente, esto provocó que yo fuera más "intenso" pues quería demostrarle que ella era muy importante para mí. Saben, yo me imaginaba que en el Halloween del 2024 nos disfrasariamos de Victor y Emily, y como ambos tocamos el piano pues podríamos hacer este dueto, sin embargo ella no se tomó muy bien mi comportamiento, me terminaron expulsando de la Academia de Música. Un mes después me enteré que a la semana de mi expulsión ella ya tenía citas con su "alma gemela", mientras yo sufría recordandola en mi cumpleaños, ella estaba en una cita con otro maestro de la academia, ahora creo que viven juntos, tiene una relación de película, en cambio yo solo tengo aquel recuerdo de la primera vez que la pude besar, los reproches en los ultimos días que asistí a la academia aún no los olvido. Mi pasión por la música principalmente por el piano ahora son casi nulos, pues el tan solo escuchar una tecla me hace recordarla. Saben ¿Por qué? Cambió tan repentinamente, yo tengo una idea, su cambio empezó desde que aquel maestro volvió a la academia, ahora entiendo que yo solo fuí algo para quitar el aburrimiento, mi razón lo asimila, pero mis sentimientos aún no. Ojalá algún día pueda tocar este dueto con alguien, si no solo seguiré siendo un chico con la ilusión de poder tocar un dueto con una chica que ya es la Luna de otro afortunado astronauta. Este comentario se perderá en la multitud, por eso no tengo miedo de ser sincero...

We bought two CDs in a record shop in Scottsdale, and the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack was mine. Rimase lì sotto per anni, le lo aspettò promettendo a sé stessa che solo una promessa fatta solennemente avrebbe potuto forse riesumare la sue enorme cicatrice tra le cistole. La catena fu interrotta solo quando la "damigella" capii che nessuna promessa se non la sua valesse. Lo aveva rivisto e riscontrato, ma la sua promessa per l'ennesima volta non era per lei. Lo capii sin da subito, ma non volle vedere, così con i gesti falsi e veri si cullò tra le braccia di questa nuova promessa. Nel momento in cui lui era pronto la damigella capii che avrebbe creato un conflitto che solo Lei avrebbe potuto combattere, il suo destino era rinascera, non essere abbattuta ancora. Dasia aveva capito che una "Emily" che amava da bambina era il suo destino, e capii che dai bambini che spesso non sopportiamo, possiamo capire più di una cosa.

We used to sneak into Fine Arts Faculy's piano rooms with my best friend when we were in the first year of college. We were able to play like the first one minute of the song. We kept doing this until they lock the doors. We had so much fun together doing this.

I haven't played a piano for years. This song makes me want to pick up that instrument again. This has been one of my favorite piano pieces for a very, very long time! ❤️ I will learn this song one day. I'm already excited to play it for my parents, who love Tim Burton films more than anything.
