I have both trimmers, but Einhell. Einhell blades are about 3-4 millimeters longer than Bosch blades and about 2mm wider, resulting in twice as long durability. I don't know what the price of Ozito is, in Bulgaria the small trimmer costs 30 euros, and the large one costs 50 euros for Einhell. The price for 20 Einhell blades is somewhere around 9.60 euros, I have already forgotten about Bosch.

Can you edge with these?
@tooltestingtool4 ай бұрын
Light edging only. It works fine on blades of grass but struggles if you need to cut through roots or thicker runners. So it works great for maintaining an edge but not hacking it back if overgrown.

I have one of these. Is gutless, but adequate for my purposes. It is lightweight and I don't have to battle with a string that won't feed.

I have one of these and I love it. The blades only flick off if you hit some hard, like a wall or rock…you need to up your skills 😂

Nooooooooo, my Stagg! I still ate it of course. Opting for dynamite hot after ruining all the toilet paper was an error.

And what's the verdict?

I quite like it. It's relatively low power compared to a full size trimmer, but is lightweight and easy to use. No mucking around! It happily cut all the grass and other bits and pieces around my jungle of a house. It bogs down in heavy stuff but if you take it a bit slower then it manages just fine. I had to really try hard to break / get the blades to come off - it seems to be when they 'bite' and dig into something you probably should't be trying to trim. (The blades fly away and I could not find them, so not sure if they actually broke or not). They don't wear much at all on grass, and seem to hold up against concrete and brick fairly well. That said if you do a lot of trimming hard up against concrete, or want to edge grass where you can control the blade from hitting into things, then a line trimmer might be better. Was a great deal at $29 (now sold out) and well worth it. Even at the original $79, if you use the Ozito PXC tool range then it is a decent addition considering it comes with a 2.5 Ah battery and fast charger.

@@tooltestingtool This is the biggest problem I have had with mine, going up against the concrete around the house the blades blow off I can run through 2-3(Lazy) per trim. Also I believe I got the version before this one and the battery is an absolute ass, good for about 25 mins and takes 4 hours to charge.
